It's time to get a new set of tires for a vehicle I recently purchased.
I guess I've been a loyal customer over the years, buying nothing but BFGs for my vehicles. Right now I have  33 12.5 15 BFG mud terrains on my 86 Chevy truck, 255 60 15 T/A radials on my 71 Olds and 69 Chevy and 245 50 16 BFG G-Force 2 on my Astro van. 
Overall I love the tires, but while calling around this morning, it seems that you are pricing yourself right out of my budget.

Great tires, great big price.

I installed tires on a 86 Mitsubishi Mighty Max PU and got an unbelievable 80K miles out of them. These were mostly Freeway miles of course.   The tires handle remarkable in heavy rain at 80mph with no hydroplane at all.  I installed them on all my vehicles that I have ever owned.  I cannot think of anything bad about these tires at all and I highly recommend them 110%.

I PURCHASED A SET OF FOUR T A RAISED WHITE LETTER TIRES IN 2020, PUT THEM ON THE CAR, DROVE IT A LITTLE TOOK THEM OFF, STORED THEM FOR THE WINTER. I CANNOT GET THE WHITE LETTERS WHITE AND THEY DO NOT LOOK GOOD ON MY 1967 CAMARO (ROYAL PLUM ) FACTORY PAINT JOB.  HELP PLEASE

VERY SATISFIED WITH THE TIRE   ( BUT )

Was very pleased with the tires overall performance,Put close to a hundred thousand miles on the same set of tires still have good tread.Only problem if you would call it one.After putting so many miles on a set is tread seperation.Its time for a new set and Im having no second thoughts on purchasing BF GOODRICH TA's once again they put all 400hp to the ground thanks for a quality tire.

BFGOODRICH TA 275/60/15

Bought these tires for the white lettering on my Corvette show car and I've already spent 3 nights scrubbing with bleach to try to get the brown lettering white on brand new tires.

Brown letter tires

Purchased these tires to replace 15 year old Cooper Cobra Radial G/T tires. These are installed on a 1972 Rally Nova classic car that is shown at many car shows. These BF Goodrich Radial T/A make my classic car look horrible since the raised white letters, in a very short time, turned brown. No amount of cleaning, sanding or using harsh chemicals will make them white again. I never had this problem with the Cooper tires over a 15 year time period. They were always white and just needed cleaning with soap and water once in a while. Looks like this has been a problem for years after reading the reviews. Sounds like they may have fixed the problem now but state "all white letter tire will change color over time". Not so with my old Cooper tires. They were just as white as the day I bought them 15 years later. The only way to make the BF Goodrich tires white again is by painting the letters, which is time consuming and not a permanent fix.

Raised Brown Letters

Purchased 4 BFG Radial T/A's in September of 2016. In 6 months and less than 250 miles the RWL's have begun turning brown. I am embarrassed to display my '66 Chevelle. If you just want black wall tires then by all means buy them but if you want RWL's showing shop some other tire brand.

Beware......

White letters turned brown shortly after purchase. Tried cleaning with various products, will not come to white again. Car stays in garage and goes into trailer for shows. Lately have not gone anywhere with it, too embarrassed. Looking for another tire brand.

Browning white letters

After many years of service It was time for new BFG's with the raised white letters. After purchasing the new BF Goodrich TA tires I cleaned them up and noticed that they didn't come clean as I have been accustomed to. After a short drive I noticed the white letters were turning Brown. I decided to clean the tires once again only to get the same results.  
After several extensive cleanings the raised white letters turn brownish within the same day! I'm going to reach out to BFG. I can't drive this car with brownish letters.
