Original Philly Beef is designed to be cooked from a frozen state. However, if you prefer, it can be prepared from a thawed state. In either case the method of cooking is the same.
Directions to Make The Classic Philly Steak Sandwich
Heat a griddle to 350-400° F and drizzle griddle with oil. Saute Original Philly Steak slices on one side until the bottom starts to brown. Using a spatula, flip the steak, and lightly brown the other side. Now, put the Philly steak on a cutting board and chop and separate the slices. Mix in onions and/or other veggies. Thoroughly cook until raw color is gone.
Corral the meat into a sandwich size pile on the griddle. Place American or Provolone cheese slices on top of the pile. Next open a roll and place it open face on top of the steak and cheese. Once the cheese has melted, slide the spatula under the meat with one hand, grab the roll with the other and flip it, plate it, and be prepared to enjoy!
