I buy these 5-pound bags twice a month, and they never disappoint. They're always fresh, crisp, and last well.

Now, I have a confession... I don't buy them for me. I buy them for my dogs because they're cheaper than a lot of dog treats! I freeze them in a little beef broth, and they think they've hit the canine lottery. They've never complained about the quality—but then again, we're talking about two creatures that think licking their own butts is a perfectly acceptable hobby, so maybe they're not the toughest food critics.

The bonus? If I suddenly need carrots for a pot roast, soup, or side dish, I've always got plenty on hand.

I decided to quit wasting my time on small bag purchases of carrots that seemed to be on my list every two weeks. The price on these was a little lower as usual when purchasing anything anymore. They are good and until my own carrots are ready to pick I'll be purchasing again.

The fresh carrots from Walmart are the best .Back in the 70's,My aunt,a registered nurse shared her vegetable juice recipe with my mother.My Mom was close to 300 pounds.She told her sister she would try it for 2 weeks,she changed her eating habits at the same time.She saw the change,she stayed with it,and she dropped150 pounds in 14 months .That's my take on really good carrots.Carrots and beets make a winning combination.Carrot juice does the body good Give it a try What do YOU have to lose?

Wonderful item for our household. We use these carrots for everything--salads, snacks regular supper item, too. Easy to peel, even though they are really big carrots. We have no kids, but, we do have deer who love the leftover peels. So, everybody in this house is happy with this item.

Easy, delicious product

I get these to feed to a stable of Tennessee walkers that I walk to for exercise.  They love them and I have enough to give them two carrots a piece.  And the price is right!  Never have any I have to throw away from spoilage.

At five pounds this bag is great for the price. Used the carrots for juicing and stir fry’s. Happy with the size, texture and taste. Excellent quality carrots.

These have a nice firmness and clean snap when you cut into them, which is exactly what you want from fresh carrots. They hold their texture well whether you’re slicing them thin or cutting them into larger pieces.

I use them in a few different ways, and they’ve been consistent across all of them. One of my go-to uses is an Asian-style salad, thinly sliced carrots add a fresh crunch and work really well with a light dressing and other ingredients like cabbage or scallions. It’s simple but comes together with a lot of flavor.

They’re also great for quick snacks or putting together a vegetable platter. Paired with celery, tomatoes, or served with hummus or a dip, they make an easy appetizer without needing much prep. It’s a practical way to serve something fresh for different occasions.

I always buy these carrots because I have a German Shepherd who loves them. This is the treat he gets instead of some bad for him manufactured treats with who knows what in them. He loves his carrots. So according to my dog they are great and I do use them occasionally.

these were some of the best carrots I have had from Walmart they are larger and thicker than the other ones we eat a lot of carrotso we use them the smaller bags are scrawny thin even the organic are not as good to me so I buy the huge package because of getting some beautifully long , thick and meaty eye savers.

Unlike the 1 lb. packages, in my experience, these are very LARGE carrots, often broken and VERY dirty. I buy them, now, for the wildlife that we feed ....squirrels, chipmunks, rabbits, birds etc.  The little beggars are thrilled regardless of condition!
