I came accross this bread by accident, and I'm sure glad I did. I originally choose it because it felt the freshest of anything on the shelf. I'm not sure why the bread is yellow instead of white, but IMO it's the best bread out there. We now buy nothing else for our sliced bread needs. I've recommended it to people in stores, telling them if they didn't like it I'd give them their money back. It's that good, and stays fresh much longer than other breads.

We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this bread. We tried it when we went to Red Bay, AL and any time we are back that way we get more. The last time we bought as we could fit into our freezer. I wish they would distribute it in Texas......mainly Cypress/Tomball area. I highly recommend anybody and everybody trying it.

Captain John Derst's Old Fashion Bread

I found at a grocery story in South Carolina and when I got home went online to find where I could purchase it locally. So happy to find it at Walmart. It is the softest and freshest bread I've ever gotten off the shelf. It stays soft and makes the a great sandwich. I was a little confused by the yellowish color, but after the softness, I don't care what color it is.
