We've been using this oven for over a month now and we are very pleased with its features. I can report that this is the best convection oven of the three we have owned over the last few years. 
I highly recommend this oven. By the way, one of the reviewers said that you can't run it without the convection fan operating - well we found right away that the reheat function is a way to cook without the convection fan running.

A great convection oven

I bought this AirFryer 2+ years ago and use it daily and still love it. Worth every penny, I've owned at least 4 AirFryers each were ok but had limits so i upgraded. Since this one I've never thought about wanting another and every time i see a "New" one come out I'm like lol nah. 
The sheet pans that come with it are heavy duty and hold up extremely well, mine still look new, get some 9×13 pre cut parchment, fits really well and nearly no clean up after. 
The air basket sheet is spacious 
I can toast 8 slices of toast at once, bake chicken or roast to perfection 
Line the bottom drip pan with foil and it will keep looking new for years

Best air fryer oven I've own going on 2 years

Have had for roughly a week and used 5 times. Baked potato, meatloaf, crescent rolls. VERY quiet compared to my previous non-Ninja air fryer oven. Not too hard to clean. Glad to have the probe thermometer but temp is “off.”  Set for 155–when I checked “done” temp with another thermometer it was really only 135. But overall very pleased.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the Ninja Prestige Smart XL Air Fryer and Countertop Oven for a few weeks now, and overall, I'm impressed. The large capacity is great for making meals for the whole family, and it's really convenient having both an air fryer and an oven in one appliance. The air fryer makes food crispy without much oil, and the oven works well for baking and roasting. One feature I love is the big fan in the back, which helps control the heat flow to cook food evenly on both sides. It heats up quickly and saves time, though I do wish the controls were a bit more straightforward at first—it took me a few tries to get the hang of it. Cleanup is easy, thanks to the non-stick surfaces. It's been a solid addition to my kitchen and gets a lot of use.

Cooks my food fast, and has so many settings!

It not only replaced my old air fryer but has also become my go-to appliance, consistently outshining my traditional oven. Every meal I made came out perfectly crispy on the outside while remaining moist and tender on the inside. 

When it came to baking, I noticed a significant reduction in cook times, and the flavors of my baked goods improved dramatically. My cookies, in particular, turned out wonderfully; each batch was more cohesive, and they had a delightful buttery richness that I hadn't achieved before. 

The dehydration feature intrigued me, but I struggled to fully utilize it—though I suspect that was more about my own learning curve than the appliance itself. 

My only real drawback is the size and weight of the unit. I was surprised by how large it is; it definitely takes up a considerable amount of space in my kitchen. I highly recommend that anyone interested in this appliance carefully measure their available counter space to ensure a good fit! Overall, this hybrid air fryer is a fantastic addition to any kitchen.

Total Game-Changer!

It makes your food so fast and good and is small enough and weighs very little making it to move as needed or fit right on your counter top.  The racks are stable and easy to pull in and out. If you looking for a good air fryer combo I would suggest this!

Lightweight, small and just amazing!

Honestly I've never had any complaints about ninja products, I think they're all really good. But I was surprised about how large this oven was. It fits so much food or like big meals like chicken or a turkey. I think this is great if you like cook for a big number of people. It cooks food very evenly and is just so convenient.

Best Countertop Oven

I purchased the DT551 oven in December and have used this on an almost daily basis. I am so far happy with its performance, however cleaning this oven is a chore at best. Cleaning the racks, broiler tray and air fry basket are easy. What is not easy and almost impossible is cleaning the inside of the oven especially after air frying as the splatter get all over the oven walls and the circulation fan. I try to clean up after each use however the splatter gets baked on and is very difficult to remove even after one use. 

I called Ninja support and was told the only method of cleaning suggested is to use mild soapy water and a sponge. Using an oven cleaner is NOT recommended as it could damage the interior finish of the oven.

My biggest complaint is the fact that Ninja removed the grease screen that use to be in front of the circulation fan which use to catch the grease before it entered the fan, most likely a cost cutting measure. Now it just sucks all of the grease splatter into the fan which is behind the rear wall of the oven making it impossible to clean.

Why Ninja would choose to use a finish on the oven walls that is so delicate that you can only use soapy water and can't use an oven cleaner is ridiculous considering the amount of baked on splatter developed and the cost of this oven. 

I would have given this oven a better rating then 2 stars if it weren't for the impossible cleaning of the oven itself.

You may want to look elsewhere if you're looking for an oven that is easier to clean.
