This supplement works! It drastically reduced my high bad cholesterol levels and increased the good cholesterol a bit, and I wasn't even taking it as I should. After seeing my numbers at my doctor's I was very impressed. I plan to take it as instructed to get even better results. Father had heart attack 15 years ago.  Dr wanted 2 do surgery but he refused only letting them put in stents.  Was on a statin for cholesterol, but was concerned about side effects.   Within 6 months, was off statin and only taking Cholestoff Plus. 6 months later, Dr said he was doing so well, could get of statin.  Dr was surprised 2 hear dad had already been off it for 6 months and please that the Cholestoff seemed 2 be working.  I'm not suggesting anyone else do this.  Please always consult a medical professional.  However,  it may be something to discuss with Dr and consider, especially if having problems with statins.

Cholestoff vs. statins

I have genetic hypercholesterolemia, which means my body makes its own cholesterol, which limits the amount I can via food (the good stuff is always the fatty foods).  When I was told about phytosterols (plant derived) I wanted to see if it would change the numbers that were always on the blood labs.  I consume a diet of increased fruits and vegetables and take Cholest-Off twice daily, with additional beet and cinnamon supplements, to cover blood pressure and blood sugar.  My mother was a diabetic and father had Parkinson's; both had plaque in their arteries caused by uncontrolled cholesterol levels.  My mother died at 77 years old and my father, four years later at 81.  I have been taking Cholest-Off for over five years now and my blood labs reveal I have so much of the HDL (the good cholesterol) that my LDL (the bad one) that it over-rides whatever my LDL is (stable).  Take it for a month before blood labs (CBC) and look for the change.
