Just one tablet of Member’s Mark™ Acid-Pep Famotidine Tablets, 20 mg prevents and relieves heartburn associated with acid indigestion brought on by eating and drinking certain foods and beverages. This maximum strength heartburn medicine is intended for adults and children 12 years and over. Helps prevent meal-induced heartburn when taken at least 10-60 minutes before eating. Lasts up to 12 hours.
Managing Heartburn
Tips for heartburn include: use Famotidine Tablets 20 mg. or another heartburn medicine; do not lie flat or bend over after eating; do not eat before bedtime; raise the head of your bed; eat slowly and avoid big meals; quit smoking.
How To Use
Directions: adults and children 12 years and over: to relieve symptoms, swallow 1 tablet with a glass of water. Do not chew; to prevent symptoms, swallow 1 tablet with a glass of water at any time from 10 to 60 minutes before eating food or drinking beverages that cause heartburn; do not use more than 2 tablets in 24 hours. Children under 12 years: ask a doctor.
