Looking for a good discreet pair of surveillance headsets? Midland® Surveillance Headsets (AVPH3) are transparent and fit easily and discreetly behind the user's ear. The trick to running surveillance on someone or something is to be quiet about it. That means that you need a "quiet" headset that doesn't scream look at me and see what I'm doing. Midland Surveillance Headsets are perfect for remaining inconspicuous while you're performing your observation work.
How Many Pieces Come with the Midland Surveillance Headsets (AVPH3)?
Each purchase of this product comes with two earpieces. The earpieces fit nicely behind your ears and are equipped with some of the most comfortable earbuds that slide directly into your ears.
What Radios Are These Surveillance Headsets Compatible With?
These headsets will work with all of Midland's GMRS/FRS radios. You can use them with whichever Midland model radio you prefer, even the extended range radios.
What Are the Communications Features of the Midland Surveillance Headsets (AVPH3)?
The headsets have a push-to-talk option and are also vox capable. For push-to-talk, you simply hold a button when you want to talk through the headset to another user on your frequency. If you put the headsets in vox mode, the device will activate automatically when it detects noise. In vox mode, there is no need to push a button so it allows you to be even more discreet about your surveillance endeavors.
Will the Earbuds Fit My Small Ears?
The materials used to make these headsets include great earbuds for small ears. It would be hard to go unnoticed if you are constantly having to push your earbuds back into your ears. Midland wanted to make sure that these earpieces would stay put when users are working, so they made sure to use the best earbuds for small ears so that no one would have to worry about them falling out.
Where is the Microphone Located on These Headsets?
The microphone is on the part of the earpiece that wraps around the back of your ear. It's meant to remain out of sight to anyone who can see you while you're running surveillance.
