With enough servings to feed a family of 4 per whole chicken, it’s easy and convenient to add 1-2 more chickens per roasting pan to size-up for a larger crowd, or meal prep for the week with plenty of leftovers. I came across these MM whole chicken while planning a family holiday cookout. My Hubby wanted to smoke whole chickens, and when we started purchasing, the price for 8 was a little shocking from our local store. Sams came through with a much more reasonable price, we could drop by and have them brought right out to us on pickup, and our wallet didn't sting quite as much. I will confess that I have had issues with some WM/Sams chicken breast's in the past…at times randomly stringy, tough, or weirdly textured. I did have some concerns that these would present the same problems. However, they cooked up nicely, and were tender and juicy.  They are now our go to for whole chickens.

The whole (chicken) story..

First the value can't be found anywhere else with members mark products. The weight of the chicken compared to the cost is such a deal. I use this for Sunday dinners as well as chicken and rice . There's so many uses. It always comes out tasting fresh, and juicy.

Great taste and value

They call this the "wholesome" chicken.  Excellent quality and freshness.  It comes in a 2-pack.  Each chicken weighed around five pounds.
I roasted one chicken in the oven and air fried the other.  Both came out tender and juicy with a golden brown crispy skin.

Great quality as they have been cleaned out pretty well. Sometimes they leave some icky stuff behind that I have to cut or scrape out.

Cleaned properly

I bought this on Thursday and cooked it today ( Saturday).   I cooked it at 375 degrees for about 1 hour and 20 minutes.   I sprayed olive oil on it first then I sprinkled some of everything bagel on it...delicious.  Very moist and not dry at all.  Very happy.

The chicken is good but the way they cut it leaves a lot of exposed chicken meat, if it was not for the exposed meat I woul give a 5 star

The meat went bad 3 days before the expiration date. I had to throw it away
