I really love grilling and eating this cowboy steak, which my wife and I have enjoyed a few times.  By my having watched some of the TV cooking shows, I have gained skill in bringing this 2" thick steak to a proper medium rare.  Clean grill, hot but not too hot, flip it over several times, and use a digital thermometer to monitor progress.  My wife lets me have the bone, my favorite part.  She takes the tender part next to mine, and of course we have a nice size piece left over for either a later on stroganoff, or sliced beef sandwiches.  It isn't cheap, but if you enjoy the grilling effort and love the eating, it makes a great dinner.  It would be perfect for the average party of 4, as well as how I described it.

Great Cowboy Steak, Grilled at Home.

I reverse seared this tomahawk and got some incredible results.  Was intending to do it on a Traeger, but my grill ran into some technical problems, so I had to do this in the oven and stove top.  Turned out magnificently well, especially with the rub that Traeger recommended (see their site if you're interested).  Made for a great meal!

Very tasty and easy to cook

We put our cowboy steaks on the grill and they came out so tender! They were a fairly large cut of meat and we purchased 2. They were enough to feed 4 people.

Tender

I thoroughly enjoy my tomahawk steak from Sam's Club every time. The marbling is nice and the thickness of the steak is perfect for grilling. The meat is always tender with a nice beefy flavor. I season it with Kinder's prime steak seasoning and cook it to medium. I stock up when they're on sale. I normally give the big bone to my dog.

Excellent quality of beef

Don't be intimidated with cooking this.  It's certainly a great conversational piece if with friends.

Great steak….cooked up nicely, was juicy and flavorful…..second time in the past year…..on my ‘renewal' list!

Tomahawk

These bone in rib steaks are very good.  We sous vide them and cook on the grill.  Restaurant quality.

Cave man steak

Great quality ribeye for a fair price!  1 steak fed my family of 3. Cheaper than buying 3 individual steaks at some of the other grocery store chains.

Great quality stead at a fair price

It's a ribeye attached to weighted bone. Just buy a ribeye, the bone is just extra weight which means more money. Unless you use the bone for broth making.

It's cool looking, but pointless

We wanted a large tomahawk steak to share with friends. The few (only 5 or 6) in the meat case were very small and the butcher claimed those were all she had. Far inferior than any others we had ever gotten at Sam's. We were very disappointed.
