Member's Mark Reposado Tequila is made by master distillers in Jalisco, Mexico. From the very beginning of the process, we take extreme care to produce the best quality product, from the agave to the first drop of tequila.
Tequila is the most important alcoholic beverage from Mexico that is known around the world. It is produced in only five states of Mexico. Jalisco is one of the most important places of tequila production and this is where we produce ours.
How is This Tequila Made?
Agave Tequilana Weber or "blue agave" is harvested after six or seven years and after that, we get the heart of agave known as the "pineapple." The pineapple is cooked in the oven which then produces a sweet juice. The sweet juice is fermented, which we call "mosto," and then it is distilled two times. After distillation, we get tequila blanco. Tequila blanco is then rested in the barrel for a minimum of two months which is how we get tequila reposado.
What's the Best Way to Enjoy This Tequila?
You can drink this straight or in a cocktail. For cocktails, serve this tequila with ice, grapefruit soda, lemon and salt.
