Sam's prime beef is a remarkable section in the butcher department. Great meat at unbelievable prices. The quality has never been anything but the best. Highly recommend.

Sam's Prime Beef

I have always been a filet kinda gal until I found these steaks. Now I won't lie and say they are exactly like a filet because the cut is different but man for what you pay for a 4 pack these are absolutely killer! These are a MUST buy every single time we go to Sam's. I know my medium steaks will come out juicy and tender just like I like them, plus there's 3 more for me to enjoy in the pack! Seriously the best and we keep these stocked in our dinner rotations

Sams has excellent meat carved by excellent butchers. The only thing that bothers me is that the price is now as high as what I can find in my local meat market and sometimes the meat market beats it. 

I find that I buy as much away from Sam's as I do at Sam's in the past few months. The meat prices were always one of the main reasons we remained members at Sam's. Now I don't pass through the meats on many Sam's club visits.

Great product, but the prices are getting too high

This pulled smoked chicken… to die for!! My husband said' if I close my eyes …I swear I was eating pulled pork. But this is healthier.

This steak is quite tough at medium rare. These steaks used to be excellent but has been about as tender as a rump roast the past 2 times We've picked it up

Inconsistent quality and frequently odd shaped. Not always properly cut - grain not as one would expect and many times wedge cut with one side thin and the other very thick like an axe blade shape.

We were extremely disappointed in these steaks. They were suppose to be prime and we did not believe they were. We were embarrassed as we served them to guests. I didn't even eat mine. We have always in the past had great meats at Sam's Club but these were tough and chewy and not up to Sam's usual cut of meat. I don't like giving a bad review but you asked for a review.

Disappointed in steaks

I was so excited to see prime beef. I bought a package. They were very tough (yes I know how to properly cook steak). They had a nice flavor but I have better luck with the choice. Feed them to my dogs.

Disappointed

I apologize in advance for this review because I love Sam's in general, but this is not prime beef (which is supposed to be the top 8-10% of all beef) ....I am giving this review only AFTER trying the prime sirloin at my local Sam's Club at least five different times.  I'm not saying it's bad steak by any means and I must mention Sam's always has fair prices on their meat, however calling this "prime" truly appears as if one of the biggest companies in the world has some serious influence in ratings and what is actually considered "prime".

Not "PRIME"

Trying to save some money and bought sirloin streaks it was mostly gristle and the last lamb roast I bought was tied together pieces that tasted so bad we had to throw out.
