I’ve purchased mango from Sam’s before and peeled it myself, and it was good enough. How much better to buy it already peeled, very fresh and nicely presented?  The mango was so tasty, and the best part about it was that there is ZERO sugar added to the liquid!  I bought 6 jars, and am hoping they continue this product!!

It's so hard to find fresh mangos - or at least ones that don't rot in a day or two of purchase.  These jarred mangos solve that problem.  The mangos are fresh and in large slices, they can also be stored on the shelf until opened.  If you love mangos, these are much better than purchasing fresh.

Mangos with a shelf life

This is the first time we have ever seen mango in a form other than fresh mango.  I like fresh mango but have a tendency to have some spoilage while trying to get it all eaten.  Also since mango is quite seasonal where we are and not readily available, this is a great choice and keeps a very long time.

Great new way to buy Mango.

Member's Mark Mango Slices are delicious. They were slightly sweeter than fresh mangoes, but I loved having them at the ready for various recipes, as well as eating them on their own. The entire family enjoyed them. I don't have the patience to skin and slice mangoes to use in recipes, and now I don't have to. I'll keep these on hand as long as they're available.

Versatile and delicious

I really enjoyed these mango slices. They are very tender and sweet. The jar is just stuffed full of slices, and it is so much more convenient to have them already cut up and ready to go. Mangos aren't the easiest things to peel and cut up, so I am happy to have that work done for me. If you think about the cost of fresh mangos, this is really a deal.

So convenient, and a healthy snack.

Quick and easy to use to make a mango salsa. Cut easily, not too sweet, perfect texture for my salsa recipe. Tried some on their own and while it’s not fresh - they were as expected for a canned fruit. Softer texture but still retained fiber threads. Closer to maybe a  canned peach - but not too sweet to me. I rinsed some of the slices and used them in a salsa and loved it! I like making my own salsas vs store bought because I can adjust taste and other ingredients to my own preference. And with these canned ones - super fast and easy! I will buy them again.

Great mango slices. The jar has a terrible design. It take two hands to carry the jar and it gets very slippery. I won't buy again because of the jar.

The jar is hard to hold.

We bought these over the past weekend.  While they weren't the worst thing in the world, they were not nearly as good as fresh mangoes.  The texture was a bit soft; however, that is somewhat understandable being stored in fruit juice.  Speaking of juice, it is nice they are packed in juice instead of some kind of syrup.  Also, mangoes are a pain to deal with anyways, so these are much more convenient.  I would think they might do well in a smoothie or daiquiri as opposed to eating them plain.  I will have to experiment more.  If you love mangoes and are hard pressed to find fresh ones, these may be an acceptable substitute.  If you are just dying for fresh mangoes, this likely won't cut it.

Not the best, not the worst

They are decent, I admit the juice is sweet and the mango is mushy from being jarred. They do not work well as a stand-alone snack but they were amazing in my smoothies and also great in my yogurt. I also made homemade salsa with it. It’s affordable and you get a good amount. I loved using it as an additive but I likely would not eat it by itself again
