The Story of Lucas Candies
In 1986, brothers Hugo and Alejandro Martinez began producing candy from the pulp of tamarind fruits that became such a sensation in Mexico that the brothers began producing over 200,000 units monthly, leading them to create their company Alitec and the Lucas brand a year later.
