This cocktail / coffee table is exactly what I was looking for.  It's nice and heavy (not cheap wood), and the spring and lifting mechanism is heavy duty.  I looked at others that were twice the price, and this one was comparable if not better.  It went together easily with a friends help.  One note, the screws that held the spring mechanism were all not screwed in all the way -- very noticeably on one side... but I just screwed them in.  One other note, is you may want to put some weights on the bottom shelf on the opposite side of where you sit.... the weight of the lift part, combined with food, and things, sometimes can cause it to be slightly lopsided, and slowly start to tip....  It's a great value, and looks great!  Thanks!

Nice and Heavy (not cheap) !

I had been looking for a lift-top table for months and when I saw this on Sam's email....I couldn't wait to receive it.  The quality and sturdiness is amazing and my husband agrees.  It will com in handy when he is watching football and eating snacks!

Great quality at a great price

We had shopped around at different stores just to see if we really could appreciate the way the top comes up. YES YES YES! It is so awesome! We specifically got it because of my husband. He eats in front of the TV, plays his tablet in front of the TV, does everything in front of the TV! This is ideal for our lifestyle. It is very solidly built, easy to put together if you follow the directions explicitly and the price was considerably less than what we saw at a local furniture store. Also came sooner than we expected which was a bonus. Highly recommend this.

You won't be disappointed!

Very pretty and perfect for what we needed. A little difficult to put together, but take it slow and you will get it! Love the wheels and ability to push away when we lift our chairs.

Great item

I bought one a month ago or so a little bit darker Oak than I was expecting but fine but now I want to order 2 Logan end tables to match and I'm afraid the old won't be the same shade

Great price for this table. Minimal parts to put together. The only reason I deducted a star was due to the instructions on how to put the table together. I obviously didn't understand how to add the top of the table the proper way so we had three of us trying to hold it in the proper position while my l used my foot to keep it at the right level so I could screw in each corner. Now I'm sure there was a easier better and proper way to actually do it but with only one picture that had a few arrows pointing all over the place, I just made it up as I went along. The finished product is a perfect and exactly what I was looking for.

Love the table!

Bought this table as a gift for our son for his apartment as a Christmas present. Unfortunatly a corner of the table was badly damaged and this was not seen until the well packaged box was opened a week after Christmas to assemble the table. The box had no outward signs of damage.

Other than the damaged top, the table was relatively easy to assemble and it is a nice sturdy table and the lift top works well. I hope Sam's Club will replace the top.

arrived damaged

The table arrived unassembled.  When I finally got someone to come for assembley we found the table tob scratched and chipped.
In addition the table was delivered to my front porch.  They did not ring the bell. It is extremely heavy and I could not get it into my house. Even with two people it could not be moved beyond the front hall so mt front exit was blocked for over a week.

Cumbersome and damaged.
