The dome is really good quality. Fairly easy for two people to put together. The only problem we have is that it is a little big for our tall 6 year old granddaughter. We had to put something next to it for her to stand on so that she could climb up on it. She will grow into it though and should get better at climbing it once she gets more confidant. She also needs some sneakers with good gripping soles or bare feet.

I was a bit afraid at the thought of putting this together myself - but it came together great, is VERY sturdy, my 5 year old AND my 17 year old both love this climber....and it can do double duty as a fort, the "jail" in games, a secret place, etc....the directions could be a bit more clear, but overall I actually put it together myself...and yes, I am a female. Putting it together with 2 people would be easier though :-)

Great value, great toy, should provide fun for years to come - better than the typical swing/slide scenario.

This climber is awesome!

I was able to put this together by myself in two hours. All you need is a deep 1/2" socket and a ratchet. It comes with everything else. Some pieces are harder to get the bolt started, but that's not unexpected with the tension on the bars.  Quality is great for the price and it's big enough for a few kids to climb at once.

The 66" dome is LARGE and heavy, make sure you understand the space required before you purchase. So far it has been great for our 6 yo, 3 yo growing into it - he can't quite climb it yet but I expect he will have it mastered by the end of the month. Climbing dome took me about two hours to assemble from start to finish by myself. A socket wrench is definitely helpful and makes the job quick. Highly recommend watching the assembly video first and closely studying the diagram of pole order as I had to fix a few mistakes along the way. Fully assembled the structure is very heavy but I can still move (drag) it around our yard for mowing purposes.

Materials are excellent. Directions lacking. With help, took an experinced mechanic/builder five and a half hours to put together. Very satisfied with final product and it was an immediate success with five year old grandson. He never seemed to tire of discovering the many things he could do on the dome. Would strongly recommend to friends getting gift for "five-somethings".

Adhesive on the bar labels should be water soluable or at least not as durable as the one used. The finish on the bars appears to be rust-resistent but would be destroyed if the labels were scraped off. This and the instructions are the only things I would change in this wonderful product.

My husband put this together by himself and it was time consuming but not difficult. We both really like the hand grips positioned at the intersections of the bars, it makes climbing so much easier for our 7 and 3 year old granddaughters. It's not so high as to be frightening when smaller children get to the top. Our "girls" love it as do we so total thumbs up from us!

Great and fun piece of outdoor play equipment.

The climbing dome is fantastic and definitely suitable for the backyard. Big enough to accommodate many kids and not too big to create an obscene eyesore in your backyard. It was relatively easy to put together. The instructions were good and easy to follow. It took me 3.5 hours but that was because I attempted most of it by myself - not a great idea. You do need an extra set of hands to put this together and keep your sanity at the same time. I bought this for my son for his 5th birthday and he absolutely loves it. So do 10 other kids from the neighborhood - ranging from ages 2 to 10. They climb on it, in it, over it, through it, around it and love just hanging out eating their popsicles under the dome.

Also - i bought it "site to store" and it came in many days earlier than estimated.

Great backyard climber for many ages!

I bought this for my 4 yr old daughter. She loves to climb and is learning how to climb our trees and she loves to hang and swing on our hitching rack. This dome has all of those fun activities in one. She is learning to balance and use her own strength. She not quite tall enough to climb all the way to the top by herself yet. This will grow with her and was a great price.

Great Dome

Nice little dome. Wouldn't be too much fun for bigger kids because it is not quite big enough. My daughter likes it and she also plans to throw quilts over it for a clubhouse at times. She doesn't use the handholds to climb but they are there for those that would want to.

Nice climber

reading the directions and following them was a joke.. as they read you started with 6 pipes 4 brown and 2 shorter green,, not right for making a circle.. after about 2 hrs of following the supplied directions and going on line and finding the same poor directions,, my son and I desided to follow the picture on the box and started from the bottom and work up... and would you belive it only took us an hour to put the dome together... my advice if you purcess this climber throw the directions out and put it together using the pictures on the box,, it will save you a lot of time...
