When we have a large gathering we have a beautiful large picnic table and when we are done plenty of room for bench conversion to sit and visit. I recently had some slats pop at the ends. I contacted lifetime via e-mail to get replacement slats and not only did they respond right back but within a few hours they had them on their way at no charge. This is one heck of a great company. Neighbor came over and I told them about the service and he ordered 2 convertible benches for his patio. Rare and great company with one heck of a super service department. I'm a lifetime fan and all my future purchases is LIFETIME.

Relatively easy to put together, even for a 76 year old woman doing it by herself. And this is a very sturdy, heavy duty bench that definitely will not blow away in a windstorm. It converts easily from bench to table, though you will need an arm reach of at least five feet. And because of its weight I suggest building it in place unless you have someone to help move it.
I bought a second bench so I now have a full sized picnic table that will easily seat six.

LIFETIME CONVERTIBLE BENCH

I am angry today as I found out that our recent purchase does not earn us Sam's cash. The item was not available in the store but we are not able to receive Sam's cash for the pricey purchase. I was on the phone  forever after receiving an email that we did not have active membership…which we do!

Frustration with service after the purchase

I receive a reply to my email the next day. After supplying the Model number and product ID i was notified the same day that the part had shipped. What great service. Wonderful CustomerService

I received 2 benches and had them for a short time when we experienced golf ball and baseball sized hail.  The benches held up surprisingly well, but a couple of slats were broken.  Understanding this is outside normal conditions, I contacted customer service to see if I could buy replacement slats.  Lifetime not only provided replacement slats, but did so free of charge.  Thank you Lifetime!

Fantastic Customer Service

I bought the convertible bench for my small deck so I could use it for a picnic table. It is sturdy and looks wonderful! It's easy to convert to a bench just by squeezing the handle on either side. The hinge was missing a couple of holes and I had to call to get a replacement part. They sent that and had it in a week. Assembly wasn't too bad. I was able to assemble myself. Only tool needed that's not included is a needle nose plyer. I am very happy with my purchase.

Convertible Bench

I've had my folding bench for many years now and have enjoyed it very much. As happens after it gets a little bit older, some of the screws started to get loose and I've lost a few of them. I called today and spoke to the rep Jonny, who said he would send them out right away at no charge. Absolutely amazing since it has been years that we've owned it and that that kind of service still applies. Very impressive. Thank you!

Great service

Assembly was not difficult. The construction quality is good. Conversion between bench and desk is easy. For some reason I feel conversion mechanism could be improved. Also the desk seems not level with ground it is very slightly inclined. I have attached the level-check pic of the desk when kept on a level ground. Hence a missing star. Bench is alright. None of these are deal breakers for a picnic bench though. I wanted to buy 2 of them, bought the last one online in July 2020 and have to wait to buy another till the stock is available -September2020 or later.

Very good bench - needs improvement

I purchased this product about 4 years ago. Earlier this year the bolts that hold the plastic slits started popping out (within 6 month 10 of them have popped out). It appears that the metal frame where the bolt should go into the nut, just has a hole .. which rusted over time and no longer hold the bolt.
