[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife had been upset with our dryer for a long time so I thought I would make her happy and buy a new dryer.  We had an LG refrigerator and love the quality so I went a head and bought her a LG dryer.  She now has told me numerous times about how great it is.  No lint on her black pants, quiet and easy to use.  Not once did I get a comment about my great choice on this dryer.  I think she likes it better then me and I know she likes the cat better too.

It is pretty quiet, the finished drying signals is pleasant and loud enough to hear it wherever you are in the house but not too loud.  It dries great and has lots of great options! Very pleased with it!!

Lots of great options

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very efficient dryer. Using the sensor dry option, large loads dry more quickly in this dryer than any of the others I have owned. I like how it remembers the last cycle settings. The energy saver feature is a plus that I really like and use often. The tune it plays at the end is pleasing. There is no drum light and I do miss that feature, but I can manage without it. However, that pesky flap that the filter has to push through is bothersome. This dryer would be almost perfect if it weren't for that flap. When removing the filter, some lint gets pulled off by the flap and falls to the bottom of the trap. When the filter is reinserted that lint gets compacted and eventually causes the filter not to seat properly in the housing. Clothes get caught on the unseated filter causing them to twist and tear. It is impossible to remove the compacted lint without disassembling the filter housing. Is the flap really necessary?

Very quiet and efficient but miss a light in the drum...a feature all dryers should have. 

Having a bit of trouble getting the settings dialed in for mixed loads but works great.

On perma press cycle, clothes don't completely cool before the dryer stops. The dry signal is hard to hear, so it's hard to remove the clothing from the dryer immediately after dryer cycle is finished to prevent wrinkles. The warm clothes then sit still for 4 minutes. The Wrinkle Care setting then engages, but revolves only 7 times before it stops. Then the clothes sit another 4 minutes before revolving a few times. At this point, the clothes are wrinkled enough that I need to start another dry cycle to get the clothes warm again and run for 5 more minutes to  remove the wrinkles. The Wrinkle Care will run for up to 3 hours, but it is nothing like the wrinkle guard feature I've had on other dryers. On this dryer, the clothes mostly just sit still with a few token revolutions now and then. The still-warm clothing gets wrinkled in the first 4 minutes of sitting still after the perma press cycle stops, and they're going to stay wrinkled. 
Good/bad: bed sheets dry completely and quickly on bedding setting, but the sensor doesn't sense they are dry. The dryer will keep going long after they're dry. 
Good points: A low heat setting that effectively dries but at a gentle heat. Towels dry quickly and completely without overdrying.

But having to go online to access the meaning of the button is ridiculous.  The manual details leveling, installing, how to connect to the internet (WHO would do THAT with a dryer?????), but not what all those buttons mean.  Or how to turn off the lock function if it ever gets activated.  VERY frustrating.  And I would not have got this dryer if I'd known what a hassle it was to use.  For even the simplest function.  Despicable.

I think the dryer is fine...  but the so-called "instructions" come with directions about plugging it in, leveling it, connecting it to my phone (why, oh why?), but DO NOT EXPLAIN the buttons on the machine itself.  It refers to them...  but not how to work them (like that cursed hold thing).   For that, I had to go online.  ONLINE?  The big book of instructions contained not a  hint of how to actually work the machine?  What the buttons mean?  NADA.  RIEN.  NOTHING but silence.  Why even publish if the basic functions, what I bought the machine for, have to remain mysterious until I fire up my computer.  Really.  Ridiculous.  Very disappointed.  And don't you dare call this user friendly -- you obviously never tried it out on your granny without standing at her elbow to explain everything.  So unless you are willing to come here and stand at my elbow when I want to dry some clothes, print some instructions.  You lost me on this.

Disappointed...  but not with the dryer...

Does not dry well at all. Clothes still damp after multiple cycles.  (Dryer vent line is new, short and clear) Controls are difficult to use and limit drying options.  Owners manual does not have clear, detailed instructions. Web site offers little more.   Description claims to be 7 cu ft. Drum is smaller that our previous dryer, and cannot load as much.  Very disappointed.
