[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have done multiple washes in this machine just to be certain that it can handle all types of loads and that it has consistent premium performance. I started with a load of bedding, and it out-performed any machine I've ever used to clean linen and blankets. The sheets, blankets, and comforter not only fit entirely into the machine, but they came out thoroughly cleaned and freshly scented from my detergent. My old machine barely shook it up enough to get any garments or linen fully saturated with the detergent, so this is very surprising given the size and density of my linen load. Next I tested out the heavy duty setting on my husband's heavily soiled, rugged work clothing, and once again it totally flabbergasted me with its performance. The four way agitator and extreme spin speed capability, broke down the dirt and grime quickly and efficiently, to the point that I no longer have to worry when I miss scrubbing some stains that I'd normally worry about setting in on my old machine. Of course I wouldn't want to miss scrubbing a stain, but when his construction clothing came out and basically looked like he had not even gone to work in them, that's when I saw the true power of this washer. And just as it has the capacity to be tough on grit, it can be just as gentle on the delicate and fragile materials. I put in some delicate tops and they came out just as I originally put them in, except they were perfectly clean. I really am impressed!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just got this washer to replace a 11 year old LG that finally gave up the ghost.  LOL
Anyway, it washes well considering the low amount of water it dispenses.  Last night i had a very large amount of bulky clothes to wash and after observing the lack of agitation, I decided to add a bucket of water to the load.  It seemed to improve the washing action very much.  I won't normally have to add water since I usually have much lighter loads. On the whold, I will parrot what others have noted about the very low water levels. 
I did not receive this product free or at a discounted price in exchange for my honest opinion but would like to receive a sweepstakes entry for my review.

Washes well but water level seems to be too low.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We decided to get an agitator top loader after our older LG top loader with no agitator went bad.  Pro's...With this model, we find that our clothes get much cleaner.  In addition, we no longer have unbalanced loads which the no agitator machine used to do.  Cons: is that the shortest speed wash is 45 minutes.  However, it does adjust the time accordingly (well sometimes).  And it does use a lot more water than our previous machine.

Gets clothes really clean

I really like this new washer! Although, I feel it doesn't fill with enough water. I've watched it and have seen where some articles never get wet, this is on the normal cycle. I know that it conserves water. The salesperson did tell me that if I wanted more water, to press the auto fill button. When I did that, the tub totally filled with more water than was needed. I'm still getting used to it. thanks!

We bought this washer and dryer for our condo after moving in. Really pleased with how quiet it is but the washer doesn't fill enough for me. There is a “deep fill” setting but that's too much for a smaller load. I went online and found a hack. Now I pour pitchers of water on the clothes to make them heavier before turning on the machine. I wish there was a water level button.

I thought I was buying a standard washing machine, not realizing how much the technology has changed. Just because it has an agitator doesn't mean it fills up with water and swishes your clothes around. No matter what cycle I select, I cannot get it to fill with water. One load of about 4 towels washed in about 4 inches of water...A "deep fill" is only half full...The lid locks after a few seconds...The owners manual doesn't tell anything about the different cycles...Not a fan of all these new gadgets...

Not what I expected

I do like the option to fill the washer with water for loads. I've watched it wash without putting it on fill and it just doesn't seem like it uses enough water. I wish there was an actual selector where you could choose, small, medium or large amounts of water.

I was very disappointed in this washing machine. It does not have a Lotta features that I like. It has no prewash. It has no soak cycle. The water level does not hardly cover the clothes.When you put it on warm water the water is hardly warm at all. Just is not a very consumer friendly washing machine.

Currently haven't been able to wash clothes for 3 weeks awaiting parts for repair. Doesn't wash clothes well at all, the agitator just sways , the clothes stay in the same spot , nothing washes well, like  other washers I have had. 1st time I having LG, and Life is NOT good with it.
