[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this a year ago and it has performed as you would expect from a refrigerator-no  functional problems.
The only item we ran into was the push bottom on inside of the door area to activate water filter monitoring after a filter change. You need to press "firmly" on the button. The instruction booklet does not mention to push firmly. Service tech cleared that " misunderstanding up within a minute.
We like the no hand doors on this model as we have a middle island and it gives a slightly larger area between them as well as a cleaner look.

It holds a lot of food, and the door shelves are tall and deep to store a variety of bottles and cartons. The water and ice dispensers work perfectly. It is very quiet, and it is easy to wipe clean and shiny.

Awesome product for the price.

We are enjoying our new LG side-by-side that we have had for 2 months.  The door is easily opened and closed. The overall look/style is smooth and sleek - there are no visible door handles. The beep signal indicating that the door has been held open for too long is a bonus..  We wish that the refrigerator/freezer was sold with extra loose shelf bins for the open shelves of the refrigerator freezer. The bins could help with organizing the contents on the refrigerator/freezer shelves. We like that the icemaker is integrated with the freezer door.  There are enough ice cubes for our use.

So far so good. I have only had the refrigerator for about two weeks now but I have no complaints. I had it delivered then installed myself and it was incredibly simple. Seems a plenty spacious for food for myself and my son, could get a little pressed for space for a larger family but that’s with any side by side I’m sure. It looks nice. Water filter/ice are doing great.

Drawers at the bottom should have handels on top not at the bottom. Should be one small drawer underneat one of the shelfs for small items. Water dispencer should have its touch for each option(water, cube ice, crushed ice). Good fridge. Would be nice if i could control thru app.

Couple of notes

The directions for using the dispenser were not how it works and not being real familiar with technology took us a bit to figure out how it does work.  Then we love it.

The water and ice in the door was a great idea to free up freezer space.
I also like the way you get ice and water out of door by taping the ring above.Also nut have handles to clean makes for a clean look

LG SXC2306S

We bought this LG fridge last month. It’s been great. Only 2 things are lacking: a small deli drawer to hold cheese and lunch meats and a curved sideways wine shelf. We miss them, but I made due with a store-bought plastic bin. The wine bottle fits just fine all by itself.

We have had nothing but problems with our unit since the day it was delivered. This model has a design flaw, the water line runs behind the crisper drawer and freezes so you have no ice or water in the door. LG’s solution is to unplug the unit at night. I would suggest staying away from this model until the design has been changed.
