New Fridge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator a month ago for my garage to keep my beer cold. So far it's been a good performing refrigerator as all the beers I've sampled so far have been ice cold. In addition to keeping my beers cold it is also the quietest refrigerator I've ever owned. You can't even hear it running. Very happy with the purchase so far.

Nice and quiet

Extremely quiet and keeps the perfect temperature both in the Freezer compartment as well as the Lower compartment. We could not be happier and we highly recommend it. We especially like the handles built into the doors for the style and design.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this fridge in July and are not happy. Fridge is always at 55, freezer ices up every few weeks and fridge is even warmer. Door is too low too the ground, hits my bare feet. Shelving in the door impractical, huge handles of crisper drawers in way of lowest possible door shelf. Not cooling is the biggest issue, though. Light is always on. Technicians have not scheduled appointment.

The refrigerataor did not work well from the start.      Perhaps it has something to do with the lack of a good seal once the doors were reversed?  In any case, the food is warm.

I have received 2 of these units and sent both back. With both units the variable frequency compressor and its control unit trip the GFI circuit. LG customer support says the problem is with my electrical system so I had my electrician check everything out and there are no issues. New building codes require GFI for all circuits in the kitchen and garage so I can't use this model unless I want to put it in my living room.
