These juicy lemons were the secret ingredient at my daughter's lemonade stand! While most grocery stores are asking $1 per lemon, Sam's offers this high quality bag of lemons for a reasonable price.

Love Sam's fresh fruits and vegetables. These lemons are large and juicy. Keep them in my house for several reasons. Love lemon water, or lemon slices when I'm not feeling well, nauseous. They help me when I'm dealing with anxiety, it kind of shocks me out of whatever is happening. So yes buying bulk foods is important for me.

Love all the benefits of Lemons

More often than not I always seem to get one or two moldy lemons despite checking the bag for the ones that I can see.  I guess I'm going to have to start opening the bag to inspect the inside.  Other than that it is hit or miss.  Some of the lemons are too hard and don't produce enough juice while others are just right. This doesn't deter me from buying them from Sam's because I run into this problem at other stores as well.

Check the bag for moldy lemons

Hidden within the bad of lemons sometimes, the lemons are of mold or so soft that your fingers easily penetrate.  Sometimes it's hard to check every lemon.

Bad Lemons do not make good Lemonade

Iffy selection.  These often get mushy and moldy on day 2.  I try to remove them from the bag, return them to room temperature, use fruit & veggie cleanser and refrigerate them.  Flavor falls short of Meyer lemons, but easier to find.

The lemons looked great in the bag. I felt them or thought I did. Four days later I opened bag to make lemonade and well out of 3 pounds I had three that were still ok. Not enough for me to make 2 gallons of lemonade. Next time I will squeeze to make sure not soft or too soft. Buying by the bag is different than hand picking.

SOFT LEMONS

Lemons rotted within 2 days of purchasing.  My intent was to return them the next day but were so bad the juices leaked thru the bag.  So that was money wasted.

Rotted Lemons

I bought these and they were moldy the next day.  The problem with Sam's is the customer service line is so long, it's not worth waiting for the $3.65 that I spent.

Produce was ROTTEN

Make sure you look the package over very good. I only looked at the front side of the bag. When I was putting them in my car, I discovered that there was mold on the back. It took me longer to exchange them then it did to shop (over 20 mins)

Mold on lemons

These lemons looked great in the store.  When I got them home and opened them up, 3 were rotten in the middle.  Last time I buy prepackaged fruit from Walmart related stores.  This has happened too many times.
