After seeing the pieces and the engineering process that went into this, I see it is worth the price.  It is small but safer for the cat than the real plant.  It is something we can do together each year as a tradition and my daughter can take it to college without having to worry about it getting light and water.   It would be nice if the burgundy parts were more vibrant, but I am still very happy with the color contrast and the overall look.  I would buy another but they are out of stock now.

This poinsettia was fun to build. There were a lot of the same steps as you built up the plant. The pot is very nice looking. All of the connections are pretty well hidden within the plant if you arrange the leaves with that in mind. I thought that it would be bigger although the size is decent. I guess that I was initially estimating the size in comparison to the LEGO flower bouquets that I have built and are displayed. It is very Christmasy (is that a word?). I bought it to display in the Christmas season. So all in all, it's a good product with a fun build attached to it. If you're expecting sprawling leaves as a magnificent centerpiece, you may be disappointed. Otherwise, open it up and start connecting!

This holiday Lego set is fun and so cute  - I bought it as a silly gift for my daughter who has cats.  Real poinsettias are poisonous to cats. 
And easy to store after the holidays - just take it apart and put it in a baggie.  It was a good buy on sale - not sure I'd get it at full price but on sale it was a good deal.

Love this Christmas Poinsettia, best part is that you don't have to have a green thumb, just build and display

The poinsettia uses a 6-point round (6515235) to make the 5-points of the flowering leaves. The connected color leaves tend to pop easily (plate 1x2/w vertical holder connected to 6515236) and get awkwardly misshaped. There's no easy way to arrange the flowers so they all do not separately show.

Beautiful but easily gets mangled

Wasn't too impressed with this one.   The small flowers are mostly two large plastic pieces that do not snap onto anything.   The leaves keep falling off as they are held one by two studs.   When one falls off the others fall when trying to get it back on

Just ok

This is cute but smaller than I expected. That is 100% my failure to read the product description though. I didn't feel like it's a secure build. The flowers pop off very easily

Cute

This is my least favorite botanical from Lego. The colors are not really like any poinsettia I have seen - this is like a brownish red and a scarlet red paired together. Most of the flowers are pretty basic, although a couple have more detail. It's not very big, and most of the pieces form the interior and sides of the base, so the price seems a little high. A little disappointing.

Could Be Better

I love Lego, I really do. I looked forward to putting this one together and I think it's quite cute once done. However, putting it together was painful, both literally and figuratively. I agree with others that the instructions were subpar for a Lego product. Also, having to put many of the pieces together was murder on my hands. I would not do this one again. That all being said, this won't stop me from purchasing other sets since all of the others have been fantastic.
