With a texture and appearance similar to hot Italian sausage, La Banderita Chorizo is 100% made from Pork shoulder meat and seasoned with garlic, chile peppers, and spices. It has no fillers and is gluten free.
How Do You Prepare La Banderita Chorizo Sausage?
Remove casing from chorizo and place desired amount in frying pan. Break up chorizo while cooking at medium heat (approx. 275° F) for 7-8 minutes, occasionally stirring. Cook until done. Minimum internal meat temperature of 160° F. Carefully elevate one side of the pan to allow drainage, remove cooked chorizo. Enjoy.
