If you can't find a neutral wire, contact an electrician to install the switch.

If you want to control your TP-LINK smart switch with more than one device, you can. There is no conflict between the apps and your tools. You and your spouse can each have the Kasa application on your Android or iOS devices, and the switch works. You can also pair it with Google Assistant or Alexa and still use your phone to control it.

Do You Need to Purchase TP-LINK Smart Bulbs to Work with the TP-LINK Smart Wi-Fi Switch?

The TP-LINK Smart Switch design allows you to control conventional bulbs you may already have installed in your house. However, you can use them with the smart bulbs if you plan on upgrading to your smart home.

With this model, the HS200 does not provide 3-way capability. It is only a single pole model. It comes with on and off switch with a brightness increase and decrease button. You can also use the restart button or reset button to reset the switch if necessary.

With TP-LINK application, you can set a schedule to turn on or off lights at a specific. You can place an away mode so that there are random intervals of turning on and off lights, so it appears you are at home even though you are away.
