Julio’s was founded by Julio T. Garcia in 1985 and is located in Del Rio, Texas. They are a true on the border brand with humble beginnings and proof the “American Dream” exists. What started in a steak restaurant, then a garage, grew into a successful manufacturing facility and now a national brand. Julio’s tortilla chip are lightly seasoned with a combination of spices that are robust without being overdone. The proprietary blend of salt, pepper, garlic, paprika and cumin is the base for all of their product offerings ranging from chips, salsas, queso, pepper sauces, pork skins and duros. The signature seasoned tortilla chips long with a container of Julio's salsa can usually be found at any gathering, whether a wedding party or football game. This is the first time for us to try these and now these are new favorite dip chips. They are so easy to eat with salsa and the flavor is great. The best thing about these chips is that they were cheaper than the name brand chips. I bought them by accident but it turned out to be a good accident.

Great tortilla chips

This was my first time to purchase Julio's chips. I bought them after trying a sample of them offered at the store. I thought they very tasty - much more distinct and bold than other tortilla chips I have eaten. I will certainly be purchasing them again.

Great Tasting Chip

Good strong corn tortilla chip taste that holds up to dipping and making nachos. The chips were dusted with a powder that taste similar to Dorito Nacho flavored chips. Made them pretty salty. Other than preferring to have less seasoning, the chip is pretty good.

Picky Tortilla Chip Eater

Tried these because they were on sale, and now I won't buy any other brand.  Their salsa is good, but their chips are amazing - I can actually eat them without salsa even (and that says a lot).

I love these chips--they stay crunchy and are made with just a few ingredients and with an amazing flavor!

Made in Texas most delicious

I never got the chance to taste. My little house mouse seems to enjoy them. It ate Thur the bag and ate most of the chips, before I got to try them.

They have a really good flavor but the texture of the chip is not as crisp as I normally eat.  Holds up well with chunky salsa

Tortilla Chips

Should have read ingredients in the store. Has MSG. Lightly seasoned, not bad, but I still like Cantina Thins the best.

I always avoid MSG and know it is in most flavored chips but I had no clue it would be in normal tortilla chips. I was looking for non-GMO and think I ended up with worse than GMO by getting the MSG. Sams was great in handling my return. Disappointed in Julios.
