I ordered two units for my garage, one to be a freezer and the other a refrigerator.  Both boxes arrived as scheduled and both boxes were relatively unscathed.  Both were shrink-wrapped together on a pallet and this probably made them more secure.  The packaging in the box was superb and insured no dents nor dings.  Truly, my only complaint is that the owner's manual is sealed up INSIDE the refrigerator, and it contains unpacking instructions.  Having done this many times before, I knew the drill, but just found it odd.  Turning the units on required referral to the manual as it is not intuitive.  One unit established desired temperature much faster than the other, but both came down to set temperature within 30-45 minutes (both started at 59F). I was concerned about plugging both units into the same outlet due to it being limited to 20 Amps, but the manual states that the power draw is 1.8Amps when compressor is running -- which is pretty amazingly low, but each is on its own circuit anyway.  Very pleased with purchase and would most certainly buy again.

Bought Two for the Garage

Pretty cool, my egg and beverage fridge finally died. I thought this was pretty awesome you can fit a whole turkey in this bad boy.....brisket yup. Watermelons in the bottom basket, perfect. It came very well packed, was called when it  should be delivered. No dings or dents in it. Plugged it in and it got fridge cold within an hour. Definitely a great addition to the basement.

Pretty nifty

I bought this Convertible Refrigerator / Freezer based on my husband's review. I ABSOLUTELY love it! Although we have only used it as a freezer thus far, we have ( 2 ) refrigerators already. It works perfectly as a freezer.

Freezer

Some of the reviews I saw claimed that the freezer came with damage to the exterior. My experience was not like that. The freezer was packaged extremely well and protected. Absolutely no issue. It's a very nice looking freezer and is working very well. A very good value in my opinion.

I purchased 2 of them and they are great. Use them as freezers for now and have them set a -0. Better than expected and shipping was great, well packed and easy to setup.

Work well in our garage and nice shelves

Versatile unit with four different functions including freezer, sub-zero refrigerator.  I am using it as an upright freezer.  It is easy to access and organize my frozen foods.  The freezer runs well in the garage and it fairly quiet.

The product is good but as other reviews suggested the shipper that walmart uses is the problem. I asked for the garage freezer to be brought to garage (no steps and driveway was clear) instead they brought it elsewhere and I needed a hand truck and a friend to help move it to the garage. Very frustrating experience but no damage.

Product works well. It did have a small dent on the side, and the driver refused to pick up the old refrigerator. it was advertised that they would pick up the old unit.

The freezer is great BUT  it came with 2 broken door shelves  i called and the lady said i would  have to return the whole freezer in order for me to get 2 new shelves  i told her that was ridiculous  so she said she would give me money back but yave not seen it yet

The fine print in the purchase terms says they will not install it. The shipper Maersk or subcontractor) gives minimal notice (less than 24h) for delivery and then will leave it any old place still in the box wrapped in plastic on the pallet and they refused to install it. I had to hire someone separately to do it because as part of purchasing this, installation is specifically excluded. I did not know that when I ordered it and called the Sam's Club phone number for help. The call was escalated to the supervisor who ultimately hung up on me. I would not buy it again even though it's a nice unit because the aggravation was shipping was so bad.  I called the people at the store and they couldn't help me. So unless you want to unbox and install it yourself don't buy it. They will not bring it into the house. The garage is as far as they will go.
