Versatile cooking tool and the no stick ceramic surface is the very best.  Great for sautéing anything to your personal preference.  Browns up any meat and veggies perfectly.  Does well on fish and shell fish.  Salmon, shrimp, or scallops all cook up perfectly with a nice sear.  Functions perfectly as a wok.  A quick wipe is all it takes to clean between your cooking different items.  Bits scrape up easy for a great gravy or sauce.  Heats up quickly and evenly.  Easy to clean.  Controls are somewhat confusing but learning curve is short.  The only change I would like to see is handles on the inner pan - it gets too hot to handle.

This is so versatile!  I can get a good sear then turn to cook low and slow and cover.   I've make pancakes, fried rice, and burger so far and I love love love!   It's so easy to clean, too.

Get this one!

Excellent all in one pan that heats quickly & holds the temp well. The convenience of sauteing veggies then searing a steak immediately after is fantastic. The clean up is simply wipe & dry.

Excellent all in one pan

Received it and used it this weekend. Verdict? Game changer! I used my new electric skillet for Asian stirfry recipes, one with chicken and another with pork and beef. The wok function alone earns the 5 stars for this review! Meat cooked quickly and so did vegetables plus cleanup was a cinch. I am looking forward to using the other features of this latest addition to my Green Pan tools.

Game changer!

I have never enjoyed cooking more! This pan is absolutely amazing. The nonstick surface works like a dream—cleanup is effortless. I can literally wipe it clean with a paper towel, no scrubbing needed! I'm not used to that, and I love it! From eggs to stir-fries, everything cooks evenly and slides right off. I'm so grateful I discovered GreenPan. If you're still on the fence, it's time to jump in—you won't be disappointed!

Game-Changer in the Kitchen!

This tool is great for versatility. Think outside your kitchen. I use it both too start dishes and finish them at cook outs, or picnics, and take dishes already finished too environments I'm not familiar with, so my dish is guaranteed a place too get warm on time.
And cooking in the security of knowing the fOod is all healthy for my family friends👍

Dream on cloud white

Purchased this to replace an old electric skillet / rice cooker and has not disappointed. Very easy to saute foods and then add additional ingredients for simmer, I.e. spaghetti. The higher sides makes frying chicken less messy and the rice cooker option gives enough rice for an entire family of 6!

Electric Skillet Plus

With todays busy lifestyle I have used this and it cooks fast and much more fresh clean taste, my family In 1 week have not had to eat out because I have used my cooker on sauté and in 30 minutes cook have had a meal cooked !!! So happy my family is definitely eating much more healthy since I found Green Pan Electronics!!!

Fast health cooking

I adore this Smart Skillet—especially the sear function. It's also great on a higher heat to reduce sauces. A couple things need improvement: the lid handle gets hot (that should be an easy design fix), and the non-stick interior pot has no handles (which it should have)—so be sure to let it cool in the base which will take longer than if it was safe and easy to remove while hot (it's not). Also, the pan can get very hot—be careful when removing the lid as there can be a lot of steam. So, generally a win but Green Pan could do a little better design-wise. I'm a loyal Green Pan gal!

Great Product - a couple caveats!

Its ok.  Not great for the cost.  I used this 2 times and the letters/labels on the controls are coming off.  I soon wont be able to see what each button is for.  The temps and time limits are not great either.  For some dishes I would like to use a higher temp for longer time frames but this unit wont allow for a manual temp and time which limits what I can use it for.  It is nice looking but thats not all great for high cost.

Not great

I am a big fan of this multifunction skillet. I use it for steaming, stir frying, slow cook… it is an embodiment of all cooking functions and with its large size esp the generous diameter and the depth, I can cook large and small portions without any fuss. Literally it can replace all other stove top cooking appliances in my kitchen. 

That has been the reason why I've bought 3 of the same over the last 2 years. And this is where the problem is ~ the induction point between the pot and the base burns and melts within a few months of use. The first one I thought was my mishandling. The second time I was very careful but still the rubber(?) started burning and melting, emitted very bad odor that is upon research apparently extremely hazardous for the lungs. I had to air the entire house for 2 days for the smell to go away. The third one I have only used for 2 months and the melting begins again.

I cannot believe there is no repair dept or part replacement option. Every time any part of the skillet is impaired, the whole thing needs to be discarded. Imagine the harm to the environment ~ and considering 3 skillets in 2 years. This skillet has been the best appliance in my kitchen but I will not buy it or any Greenpan electric product ever again until the company decides to own up to its problems ~ the short shelf life (I was expecting a skillet to last at least 5-10 years), the lack of part replacement and/or repair and the disregard of environmental responsibility.
