As an electrical engineer, I've been familiar with Generac for years. Generac always provides a quality product at a reasonable price. I currently own a XP10000 generator and was looking for a smaller portable unit. This unit definitely lives up to it's reputation as being light weight, easy to start and well built. After unpacking, filling with oil and gas, it started on the second pull. First use was about 12 hours and it ran flawlessly. My only suggestion would be adding the Power Bar feature and a fuel gauge.

Have just bought. Have started it once with no problem whatsoever. Started on first pull.
 Attached several items including a refrigerator and a LED HD television. It ran great. Ran it for 30+ minutes. Plan on using it for a backup when there is no power. It should work great as my backup based upon my startup experience.

Once it's all put together, it is easy to roll around. My dad has a very old generator and compared to that this generator is pretty quiet. It runs smoothly and doesn't burn through fuel. The panel is easy to read in the instruction manual 
was helpful. This is a solid unit and I'd highly recommend it as it is easy to use as well.

Reliable, clean, and flexible power in portable f

Just unboxed my new 2200i, filled it with oil and gas, then fired it up. It started on the third pull. Haven't put it to use yet as I purchased it for house boating to run a C-Pap machine for a family member. Runs quietly enough, doesn't weigh too much and is a bargain for the money. Also like the fact it's American made. K.

Started on Third Pull

The manual is very difficult to read and seems to describe things that no longer apply. For example, the instructions make no mention of the "on-off" indicators on the gasoline fill cap. One can only assume, since there is no "off" position on the "choke/run control" that one is to return this control to "choke" and turn the filler cap knob to "off" to purge the carburetor of gasoline. However, doing that seems to be futile, since it keeps running for a long time.

Instruction manual obsolete

Nice compact unit, not too heavy so easy to manouver. It is quite quiet you can stand adjacent and carry out a normal conversation. Nice that it has 12v oulet, usb outlets as well as an eco mode. Starts well in the cold so far(-6 C )4 pulls. . Comes with everything you need except gas and an extension cord.

Great Value

Despite it saying it will power a single rv ac, NOPE‼️ At least not here in Moab Utah. Keeps throwing a engine code on the control panels. Unit stays running but doesn't generate any power. And it doesn't throw the units breakers. My 30yr old Makita 3500 watt powered it just fine, but, it was much louder and thought the quieter unit would do the trick...WRONG‼️

Not Quite Adequate for RV AC

generac 2200i got it started it ran great did the same twice more and ran great the 4th time ran like crap still in shop waiting 10 weeks later never did get to use but do have another one and it runs great still and have used this one just disappointed in the second one ?????

It says this generator will run a 15000 btu RV air conditioner.  But it kicks to overload every time. I have a small 28 ft pull camper. Buy a bigger one or a different brand. Now I have a generator I'll never use. For 800.00
