About this item
A Californian take on a Japanese classic. It's made with imitation crab, creamy avocado, refreshing cucumber and soft rice, all rolled in roasted sesame seeds. The sushi roll is already pre-sliced so you can enjoy this meal or snack on the go, with or without utensils. There is no raw seafood so you can take this with you on a hike, picnic, park or anywhere really! The roll is already cut up into 15 pieces,. making it an easy, hassle-free snack to share but also hearty enough to be a meal too. Soy sauce and wasabi are included for dipping. Ginger is included to help refresh your palate in between bites.
How is Fresh Sushi Made?
The original sushi was created in Asia, and has been a classic Japanese food since the 8th century. It is made by taking small chunks of raw fish and other ingredients and wrapping them in seaweed and rice. The fish used in sushi needs to be sushi-grade, which means it meets high standards for fat content, freshness and taste. The fish is frozen to a temperature below -60° F to ensure it's sashimi grade.
