A great, powerful  and well built Shredder with a large capacity at a very good price ,and it was delivered promptly  with  great care .
The  Manufacturer's sealed carton was carefully placed inside another protective carton.
Would definitely recommend this shredder for home or office.

Fellowes  Powershred Cross- Cut Shredder

Needed a shredder that was large enough so I would not have to keep emptying it and powerful enough to handle a lot of shredding for at least ten minutes of continuous use. The PS-79CI was just what I need it. The six gallon container is okay since the paper is shredded into really small confetti pieces. The power of the shredder is great. I have been shredding old bank statements and junk mail with no jamming problems. Just keep oil each time you empty the bag.

Great shredder for home use

I gave mine a good workout the first day. Shredded for 2 1/2 hours with breaks long enough to empty the bin. No problems. Like all shredders they never handle the stated amount, but this one comes close. I over loaded one time and it backed up and took a second try to finish. When shredding large amounts like I was, the bin fills up very fast, you can pack it down and keep going for a while longer. For normal use the bin size is fine. So far I think its a great product.

Great buy!

Very nice shredder very quite compared to my old cheap one and it is smart if you put your hand near the opening it will shut down which is good if you have little ones around. It also lets you know your shredder is full and it lets you know if your feeding to much paper in and unlike my old one you don't have to turn it on every time you want to use it you just feed it and having wheels makes it easy to move around it's a bit pricey but if it last it's worth it thanks fellowes and walmart.

I have had no problem with this shredder, its does the job quite nicely. I have begun
to get rid of the clutter of old bills and paper around the house and I must admit I am
satisfied with the ease of use and the fact that It is quiet. Good Job Fellowes on a fine
product. I would recommend to anyone who is looking for one.....

Excellent Shredder

I'm very happy with this shredder. It functions as advertised, good shred capacity, good quality. Like rollers on bottom - very convenient for stowing when not in use.

Now feedback on you website. Please get rid of the "no duplicate" edit on your reviewer name - so frustrating finding a non-duplicate when really it shouldn't matter!

It works well. Basket fills up quickly. It doesn't like too many papers at one time. It has easy to read problem solving display. It tells you if bin is full or if your putting to much in at a time. So far so good.

Good buy

I originally bought a low-end Black & Decker shredder for home usage. I was under-powered and the bin seemed to fill up overnight. This Fellowes shredder has more than enough power for residential use. It doesn't even struggle to power through multiple pages. The controls are easy to use and the credit card/ CD shredding feature is well designed. The bin still fills too quickly but it can be removed and the contents hand-compressed to alleviate the need to dump it too frequently.

A great upgrade for a home shredder

This shredder was more expensive than many others and worked after it was put together. however stopped working the same day. The light on the power button turns on then immediately off like there is a short. Now I have to go through the process of returning it.
