A chocolate delight from my childhood

I used to buy a Gold Brick Bar at the movie concessions. It cost ten cents which was double what other candy bars cost. However it was worth it! I loved getting one every time I went to see a movie. I was thrilled that Sam's Club offered them for Easter. Bought about nine 24-count boxes!!! Will be sharing with our kids and grandkids so they can experience what i did at the movies! Please keep offering them.

Love these candies. It was a staple in our home growing up in south Louisiana around the Easter holidays. Excited to see that can be shipped to Tennessee and arrived in tack no melting.

Delicious milk chocolate center with very small pieces of pecan (which accent, but do not dominate, the flavor). The outside is a thin layer of milk chocolate. Simple, not too sweet, very satisfying fix for your chocolate craving.

Best Easter Candy EVER!!

So excited to be able to get Elmer's Goldbrick eggs from Sam's Club! Can't get them in South Carolina and Easter just hasn't been the same without them. I'm going to share them with the folks here so they can taste what they've been missing!

So as an elementary student I sold these candy bars for my school in New Orleans. There are still tasty.

School memories

I bought these last week. This is the most disgusting candy I have ever gotten from Sam's Club. The nuts in them almost tasted like they were rancid. The 5 that my 2 adult children, their spouses and myself took one bite of ended up in the garbage. Maybe one box from last year got mixed in with the 2024 stock. I could not find an expiration date. Ready to make a couple phone calls to find out what the problem is. I have always loved Gold Brick.
