We recently purchased the delta battery right before we got hit with storms that took out power out for 3 days. We kept the refrigerator running, internet, computers and TVs going plus the delta recharged via our 400watt solar that was already on our camper. I am so thankful we had this unit. I also have a river pro and I love the app functionality. I was a little sad when I found the delta didn't have the all functionality. But it was still worth it for the amount of power it can dispense and hold. It recharges super fast. I also have used it with me electric corded chainsaw to aid in the recovery effort off all the down trees on our property. It run the corded chainsaw like a champ and had plenty of power to spare.

Powerful battery for the cost

I had one of these solar generators when Hurricane Ian Hit Lee county, Florida. Luckily, I keep it charged and used it to keep my refrigerator running, my cell phone charged, and my neighbor's cell phone charged. If you have sun, you can charge it and use it at the same time. I ordered this one to keep the lights on and a fan going.  I love them both.  They are g\charged and ready to go when and if I need it again. It is a feeling of security.  No searching for gas or diesel.

Safe and secure

I like the attention to detail with the build of this device. It charges fast and is capable of operating a  washer, refrigerator and most household appliances. I bought it instead of a gas generator because I think gas generator will be outlawed soon by politicians.  It is a necessity during power outages, and I think Delta is the optimum size - not too heavy but still powerful (1,260W). By the way, customer service is great also. I also submitted a suggestion for packaging it and I saw the improvement on my latest purchase.

The Goldilocks size

This was more powerful than I expected. It can power a full sized refrigerator and a 5 cu. Ft. deep freezer at the same time. But not sure what happens if they both power on at the same time. 

I had both plugged into this one unit simultaneously. When the refrigerator turned on it said 7-8 hours were left on a full charge. When the Deep Freezer turned on it said 9-10 hours were left (kept bouncing back %26 forth). But both units never turned on at the same time.

This unit would power both fridge %26 freezer for days because no power is consumed unless something is actually running. When nothing is on the unit says 99 hours. When something turns on the hours left drops down. 

This unit is more than sufficient to keep my food from spoiling during a power outage. I am so happy with this particular unit I will buy 2 more when the price drops to $500 again.

Oh, it does charge super fast. I never timed it precisely, but does a complete change from 10% to 100% in less than 2 hours.

More powerful than expected

We started living off grid and this Ecoflow is a  game changer.   For best results use a gas generator to charge it.  It'll charge faster than any other product out there.  With this we get to live with all the comforts of living in the City.  We recently bought the solar panel to go with it and that doesn't work so well.  But this power station is amazing.    We also tried a Jackery and that was the terrible.   We'll be using Ecowflow products for all our off grid needs.

Best decision ever for off grid living.

I have NOT really put this thing to any sort of test.  But it arrived very nicely packaged, and it has held a charge for several days now. I like it, it’s light.  I bought it solely as an emergency back up, but if it performs as it should, I’ll probably be using it more - I.e., for camping and for charging my e bike. I may even buy another similar but smaller unit.

So far so good!

Like: The weight, ease of use and screen display.  
Dislike: The specs are a little misleading. The internal battery is 1008Wh however that is not the same as usable Wh.  Brand new I bench tested it using a space heater set on medium, drawing a consistent 805  watts   /- (based on EcoFlow readout meter).  It shutdown after 54 minutes, 725Wh, 6% battery remaining.  
Moral of the story:  Battery is rated for 1008wh, however the internal electronics consume part of that power based many variables. I am happy with it and know it's limitations now.  I could return it but won't because of the hassle and it will meet my needs.  I would buy the Delta 2 if I did it again because the Delta 2 is expandable.    Yes, it cost more but offers more features.  I am using it as 1) a UPS but it has a 30ms transfer time and not for critical needs such as medical equipment, servers, etc.  I keep it plugged into the grid.  2) If I have an extended power outage, I will use it to run the refrigerator, freezer, and microwave.  
Final Comment:  Recharge time is approximately 2 hours using house current.  So if the power is out and the power station runs out of juice, I will recharge it at a friends house or go to a cheap motel that has power and start the cycle again.  Saves me from loosing food and cleaning out the refrigerator/freezer.  I don't like generators, they are noisy and high maintenance.  So this is UPS and insurance during power outages.

Likes, dislikes and observations

It’s a pretty nice unit. I also have a smaller one. I was hoping this would be able to run my song but I can’t trips out but I can charge the batteries for some of my tools so if you’re going to run anything like a tablesaw chopsaw, something like that it doesn’t have enough power But great for a back up for the fridge raider freezer or charging batteries

New unit for me

i felt the ad was misleading.  in the pic it shows a solar panel with the unit.  it did not come w a solar panel.  so i ordered the one in the pic for an addititional 390 bucks.  it is the wrong panel.  i need 1 panel at 400w to charge the unit.  now ill have to order two more at 390 each or fibd a 400w panel.  veru confusing.  but, the unit is awesome.  wish i could charge it by solar power.  that will have to wait.

almost 100% satisfied

Pretty happy with this unit. Bought it to provide power/charging for our University research drone flights when we're in the backcountry. Definitely does the job admirably. With a solar panel hooked up to it, we never ran out of power during a 3 day trip. Only one minor criticism - the USB-C plugs are only 65W and not the 100W of my EcoFlow River unit. That means I can't charge/power my laptop via USB-C with this unit (my laptop is a hungry beast and needs 100W for power over USB-C).

Workhorse for supporting field work with one catch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As the directions state, I plugged it in and charged it to full before using.

I was using this as a battery backup for a cable modem and VOIP phone system, so I was keeping it plugged in to the wall and then plugging my router and phone system in to it.  The total draw was right around 300 watts.  After one day of use like this, the AC side went completely dead and wouldn't turn on.  The DC side appeared to work, so to test it, I plugged an iPad and phone in to the fast charging ports.  It would start charging, then just quit.
