I love Dyson Vacs. I've had my animal ball 2 for 12 years; purchased it in 2013 and it's still going. I figured I purchase a newer Dyson vac to get a jump on things incase my old one finally goes out. Found it at Sam's for a great price. I prefer the upright instead of the stick vacs.

Long Lasting

never had a vacuum like or since my 1st DYSON VACUUM. Can't be beat,I'M still using my 1st one purchased over 10 tears ago I believe and have another i purchsed because the price was great,haven't had to use number 2 yet,then I seen this one at SAM'S CLUB for such a wonderful price and deal I couldn't resist it. Now the absolutely proud owner of 3,still using the 1st one and going strong. EASIEST maintenance EVER,ABSOLUTELY LOVE MY DYSON BALL ANIMAL!

ABSOLUTELY LOVE MY DYSON BALL ANIMAL!

This is my second Dyson, nothing compares to it, I've tried over 20 vacuums in my 32 year marriage. I recently purchased the new Pet Dyson and gave my 5 year old Dyson to my Daughter in law, she used it once and was amazed at the suction and was the perfect excuse to buy another. My next purchase will be the Hair styling tools.

We're a Dyson family, nothing compares to it

This vacuum moves very smoothly and makes it is easy to transition from hardwoods to rugs to thick carpets.  The ball as a wheel makes navigation and turns a breeze. It picks up like no tomorrow...the pictures were after I had broom swept, pretty gross. 

It comes with all the attachments you need. The vacuum is well designed, most of the attachments attach to the vacuum, so they're there when you need them.  One, the small brush head, I could not figure out where to store it on the machine itself.

This works great on my floors and furniture. It picks all up the dust, hair, and debris with ease. I and my daughter have hair to our waist and we have 2 large white dogs and a black cat... so thats a feat. With its telescoping arm and long hose its easy to get the cobwebs off the ceiling and corners. As soon as it stops raining, I'm excited to vacuum out my car - I have a feeling its going to do a spectacular job, as it does everywhere else!

Nothing on this feels cheap. Everything seems well designed, sturdy and longlasting.The vacuum is really easy to put together, took less than 10 minutes and no tools but the instructions could be improved on to make it even easier. The instructions say to assemble it to lay it on it's front but the actual part with the brush attaches to the front not the back,so lay it on its back (hose).  Also the small part that holds the attachments - there is a track on the vacuum where the instructions say to attach it.

Off to rid my house of dust bunnies!

This is the vacuum to get if you have pets!

My 2nd Dyson.  I'm a pretty big Dyson fan generally (hair dryer, vacuums), so when my old dyson finally sucked up its last small area rug and killed the motor, it was a no brainer that I would replace it with another.  Price at Sam's Club was unbeatable.  The newer dyson is lighter than the old one without sacrificing suction/power.  Like the 3 settings which can control the suction mire than my ladt model.  Overall, I'm pleased!

Great Suction

This vacuum is so strong and powerful. It has so much suction that I can't use it in my house on the floors . I have wood floors with rugs and it's so strong it won't push on the rugs. Most vacuums have an adjustment for maximum to minimum suction but this one doesn't have it. I can't push it. It works great using the wand/hose for corners and ceilings.

Incredibly powerful.

First-Dyson makes a product that really vacuums well. But, this machine was very heavy and hard to push. It reminded me of pushing my Kirby without the automatic drive engaged-kind of like pushing a mower without using the auto drive to help relieve the resistance.  I returned it -just too hard on my shoulder to push.

Too heavy for me

The suction power is great and that's the only thing good about it.  This is our second dyson animal. Our first one lasted 15 years. It actually still works but just has a few issues.  This new one looks and feels like cheap quality.  The way it functions feels janky and is a poor design. I would recommend playing with one at the store before you purchase. Like I said though the suction is great

Not as good as it once was

The attachment is stiff and not user friendly. You'd think with such a great vacuum the attachment arm would be easy to use and be flexible. Wish it also had an automatic cord. Considering returning

Wish it was better

I have owned a Dyson for 10 years, best vacumn ever.  Thought it was time to get a new one.  Dyson is not the same company it once was.  Like all the other reviews the head kept falling off.  I read the reviews, maybe a bad batch so I took the chance.  Once it happened 3 times within 15 minutes, I took it apart and returned it.  Standing in line the man in front of me also had the same problem.  I will not recommend Dyson anymore.
