How Long Can These Duracell Coppertop AA Batteries Be Kept in Storage?
Whether it is Duracell AA batteries, a Duracell AAA battery or another of the brands' products, if made with their Power Preserve Technology, the batteries will have a guaranteed life of up to 10 years - if kept in storage.
Why Are Duracell Coppertop AA Batteries Ranked Higher By Parents, First-Responders and Others?
A Duracell battery is known as one of the most reliable and long lasting batteries. This pack of Duracell AA batteries can be put to use in almost any device that requires such a power source. Flexible and dependable, long-lasting and guaranteed, they are a "go-to" brand for many.
Why Should a Consumer Buy a Multi-Pack of Duracell Coppertop Batteries?
Purchasing bulk packages of batteries ensures they are on hand whenever needed as well as providing a more economical price per battery. Rather than purchasing one or two batteries, this package delivers 28 AA batteries ready to be put to use or stored until needed.
Can a Consumer Discard the Batteries After Their Use?
Duracell tells consumers that any "alkaline batteries can be safely disposed of with normal household waste." It is only the newer, rechargeable batteries that must be handled in a different way. You do not have to store used alkaline batteries for disposal at specialized facilities, and Duracell batteries have been safe for household trash for almost 20 years.
Are These Batteries Safe for Children's Toys or Devices Used in the Bathroom Around Water, Such as Electronic Toothbrushes?
Yes, they are entirely safe for use in anything designed to require AA batteries. They are suited to everyday or bath toys, fire alarms, household appliances, small hand tools, and more.

Tips for Battery Care and Use:
Duracell batteries are a reliable and important source of daily portable power. To ensure you get the most from your Duracell batteries, follow these general ‘DO' and ‘DON'T' tips for proper battery use and storage:
DO
– Keep all batteries in a safe place away from children and pets, particularly the smaller sized batteries.
– Store batteries, in their original packaging, in a dry place and at normal room temperature until ready to use.
– Use the correct size and type of battery specified by the manufacturer of your device.
– Replace all used batteries in your device at the same time. Insert batteries properly, with the plus (+) and minus (–) terminals aligned correctly. CAUTION: Some equipment using more than three batteries may appear to work properly even if one battery is inserted incorrectly.
– Where possible, recycle your batteries where communities offer recycling or collection programs. You can contact your local government for information about the disposal options in your area.
DON'T
– Remove the battery label, or attempt to take the battery apart, or dispose of in a fire as this may lead to rupture and/or chemical burns.
– Attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries. This can cause your batteries to overheat or leak.
– Carry batteries loose in your pocket or purse as they may create a safety risk. They can be shorted by contact with metal objects and may leak, overheat or rupture.
– Mix old and new batteries, batteries of different brands, or batteries of different types (for example heavy duty zinc chloride batteries and alkaline batteries) in the same device as this may cause the batteries to leak.
