Perfect. Really large ripe berries. Sweet but a just a few were not. I ate them anyway. I wish I had bought 3 instead of just 1. I was going to make a small cobbler but ended up eating them all out of hand. I don't think I would have added much sugar to the cobbler.

All ways the sweetest and keeps the longest and I don't know why but they have every time I buy them at Sam's unless my grandson drops them on the lot putting them in my truck, then they go bad fast, black berries bruise easily

Best black berries anywhere

I can't believe how long they lasted! Were pushed to the back of fridge & I saw them just before we left on 8 day trip, almost cried. They were still perfect, maybe better, when we got back - today is 3 weeks & we just had the last of them with breakfast.

Best Blackberries around

Fortunately, fruit in this purchase was delicious. I love blackberries but was hesitant to buy this box because of a previous unfavorable experience. I bought a box of blackberries from Sam's a few weeks ago, took them home (about a 20-minute drive away) and placed them in my fridge. They were good on the day I bought them. The next day most had molded and the entire remaining contents of the box had to be trashed.

Delicious, But Beware

I'm always hesitant to buy fruit because the sweetness and flavor are frequently absent 'these days'. The price was good so I thought I'd try them knowing the kids would eat hem even if they were bland or I could throw them into a smoothie. I was surprised to find these were not only sweet but flavorful; they actually TASTED like blackberries. I went back and bought more.

Sweet and flavorful at a good price

Once we were able to get in the produce cold room. It was blocked for the 3rd week in a row during early plus hours.  My wife selected her berries.  They were good while they were edible.  About a third of the container turned white and fuzzy in less than 5 days.

I don't know if it's Sams buyers or Sam's sources but the fruit in general has gone downhill this year. The blackberries are ridiculously expensive and they are not near as good as they have been in the past years.

Not the same

Bitter berries, blackberries can be hit or miss for sweetness unless you get the sweetest batch berries.  The last few batches I got from Sam's have been misses.

I'm very disappointed with the blackberries and the blueberries and the raspberries that I've been getting from Sams lately. You always had the best berries around. But unfortunately, the last four times that I have bought them, they have been rotten and wet and full of mold. This is not like Sams and I am very disappointed.

I couldn't see it but half the package was already moldy and made the rest of the blackberries taste bad so it was thrown out the day after I bought them.
