Sam's has proven great prices on the two main cleaning products, Downy and Tide that I use when cleaning the many towels, rugs and cleaning rags that I use while caring for many abused animals that tend to find me when they are in great need.  I rescue many animals from felines, dogs to bunnies, llamas, horses and many fowl species and I am very happy with the softness and wonderful smell of both products that are used daily in caring for the many neglected, abused animals that seem to find me wherever I am living.  Many of these animals have wounds that are pungent and both products clean and give softness to the many items that I use for them as well as the binkies, towels, blankets and toys that are usually the first true kindness that an abused animal truly gets that is just for them.  I do not have a lot of money but the sales from Sam's allow me to stock up for leaner times.  Thank you Sam's for your great sales that allows normal people access to proven products that allow me to make a difference in a small way in caring for the many animals that are not living their best lives due to abuse and neglect.

I like the smell much better than the other brands, as it is a softer scent and doesn't bother my allergies.

Downey fabric softener

I usually use Downy, but the fresh scent. This was a nice alternative, it smells nice but its not to strong.

I buy this for my daughter-in-law when I pick up orders. She has used it for her family's many loads of laundry. For me personally, it has a stronger scent than I want to use for my laundry.

Thick and too strong. It eventually coagulates and ends up getting stuck in the dispenser of the washer. Always used Downy but this one is different and was disappointed,

Not the quality I've come to expect from Downy

I used the product one time with it sitting on top of my washer as I usually do as I buy this product regularly. I Left for the day came home and the product was all over the floor as the push valve apparently did not seal and let the liquid drain out all over the place.

Leaky valve

I have been using this Fabric Softener for quite some time, and I was really disappointed with my recent purchase. When I compared it with the older version, I noticed a significant difference. The previous packaging had 170 fl. oz. with 251 loads. However, this time, I felt cheated. Although the new packaging claims to offer 257 medium loads, it contains only 150 fl. oz. The “new packaging” seems to be nothing more than a deception and an excuse to give us less product for the same price. It's frustrating to see a trusted brand cut corners like this, and I expected better value and honesty.

Deceptive Packaging: More Loads, Less Product

Not happy about having to spend $50 to receive free shipping for plus members.

Sams said it was on sale when it was actually 20 oz less in the bottle.  I thought the bottle looked smaller and when I got home and put it beside my almost empty bottle it was considerably smaller and 20 oz less.  That is not on sale!
