1/4 sauce with some gentle exfoliation is all I need, highly recommend. I have quite dry and sensitive skin, and this is the only soap I know that moisturizes my skin AND exfoliates it, without leaving it too dry or itchy.

I used Dial soap for 40 years.  Recently I've noticed soap scum on my jewelry and DRY skin.  Thankfully I had the courage to try something new!  I got Dove original and loved it.  I got Dove lavender and like it. Next I got Dove antibacterial, but wasn't crazy about the scent.  And finally I found my FAVORITE.  The gentle exfoliation is WONDERFUL.  I love the scent and the extra cleaning power.  Thank you!  Please do not ever change this wonderful soap.

Since writing reviews seems to the new socially responsible thing to do.. here it is. 
I have been using Dove since 99/00. 
This smell reminds me of the first Dove products I had ever bought. 
I love the exfoliating bead things in this bar. It's not gritty, nor does it leave a film. 
I like body washes- I do, I have 3 other Dove Body Washes in my shower right now as I type this. 
But the bar? That's my go-to. There's probably nothing fancy to it. It's probably got some flaws. But it works for me. 
I still have to use a lotion (chronically dry skin/rosacea/allergies), but for some of us? That's just how we were made. 
I will be buying again, like I always do, like I always have. Thanks Dove!

Brought this soap the other day and I love it! The gentle exfoliating beads in the bar makes my skin extra soft and smooth. I'm 40 years old and people think that my age is between 24-32! Great Exfoliating Beauty Bar

I'm a fan of the Dove exfoliating bar soap. But unfortunately I've had to take off one star due to my last few purchases there weren't any exfoliating beads in the bars of soap. It was basically the dove beauty bar. Hopefully my next purchase will be better.

Was great until..

My husband and I have used this soap for at least 8 years and dove just recently changed the soap to be sea minerals and the scent is sadly disappointing!! It smells of strong perfume and terrible chemicals. Will be on the hunt for old dove gentle exfoliating with the classic smell.
