Hispanic Flavors for Modern Life

Following a delicious family recipe, Del Real Foods Pork in Red Sauce Tamales are prepared with only the best and most authentic ingredients. The stone ground corn masa is always soft and moist and filled with tender pork meat. The mouth-watering filling is richly seasoned in an authentic red sauce that has been perfected by generations, then assembled and wrapped in a sustainable wrap before being steamed. And while making tamales by hand can be a long process, all you have to do to enjoy a taste of authentic tamales is simply open the package, heat, and eat. Spend less time in the kitchen and more time with your loved ones with the help of Del Real Foods!

About Del Real Foods

It all started with a pig. Back in 1957, a young entrepreneur named Jesus Cardenas journeyed from his home in Jalisco, Mexico to the farmlands of southern California. With his wife, Luz, their children, and his American dream of starting his family farm, Jesus traded in his bucket of tools for a pig. And Del Real Foods was born. Today, Del Real Foods makes tamales, carnitas, salsas, and other recipes inspired by the Cardenas' native Jalisco - all created by hand with fresh ingredients and nothing artificial. Delicious, slow-cooked meats, and homemade sauces that taste as if you cooked them yourself are now available at your local grocery store and ready to serve in minutes.

Microwave Heating Instructions

1. Wrap a tamale in a damp paper towel and place on a microwave safe plate.

2. Microwave for 1 to 1:30 minutes or until 165°F.

3. Remove from microwave and let stand for 1 minute to cool. Remove tamale from sustainable wrap and enjoy!

Note: Microwaves vary in rates of heating. Times given are approximate.
