The natural spring water offered by Deer Park is sourced from 13 different springs from three different locations. The Frontier Springs location contains eight springs; the South Carolina Spring location contains one spring; while the Florida Springs location contains four springs. Each of these 13 springs is sustainably managed by a team of dedicated field experts. The team of experts is dedicated to managing and monitoring the quality of Deer Park's springs. Monitoring and managing the springs and their surrounding areas isn't just a job to this team of experts—it's their responsibility. The water in each of the springs contains a unique blend of minerals to provide a fresh taste in every bottle of natural spring water.
How Is the Quality of Deer Park Spring Water?
Deer Park Natural Spring Water undergoes a 10-step quality process to ensure every sip is as quality as the next. Once collected from one of the 13 natural spring sources, the water undergoes a microfiltration process to remove any impurities. Next, the Deer Park spring water undergoes UV- and ozone-treatment processes that remove any remaining impurities or harmful bacteria that were not removed during the microfiltration process. After that, the water is bottled and prepared for distribution.
The Deer Park Story
Deer Park first started out in 1873 as a hotel for visitors traveling to the Appalachian Mountains. The hotel soon added ""natural spring water"" as an item to offer its guests. The water became so popular with the guests that, by 1905, the hotel began bottling and distributing the water to railroad workers. By 1966, the hotel had shut down, but the water lived on and became a brand of its own.
