Description

Everyone is on the go all the time these days. So there are lots of times when people need to take their beverages with them in the car, on a walk or anywhere else they have to go for the day. Dart® Hot and Cold Foam Cup Plastic Lids, Sip-Thru, 16 oz. (1,000 ct.) make it easier for people to do that.

Do Dart Hot and Cold Foam Cup Plastic Lids, Sip-Thru Fit More Than One Size of Cup?

Yes, they do. These plastic lids are designed to be used with Dart’s 16 oz. foam cups. But, they will fit for other sizes of foam cups also. There are other sizes of round plastic lids made by Dart too, but the company designed these lids to be versatile enough to be used with a range of cold and hot foam cups.

What Convenience Features Do These Dart Hot and Cold Foam Cup Plastic Lids, Sip-Thru Have?

The center of these lids have a solid and flat surface. This makes it so these lids reduce the likelihood of splashing, which is great for in the car. They also have vents with raised edges that let the steam from hot beverages out through the lid. The sip-thru feature keeps the drink from splashing out as well. The sipper applies pressure to the sip-thru area with his lip to allow the liquid to flow out. With lids that have open holes, splashing can happen whenever the car hits a bump or the person holding the drink jostles it too much. These Dart lids don’t allow for that to happen.

Can These Dart Lids Be Used with Any Other Kinds of Cups?

These Dart lids are meant to be used with white foam cups. It may seem that they will fit other kinds of cups, but using them with cups they were not designed for could result in spilling or leaks. The lids have been made to fit snuggly on top of the foam rims of the cups they were meant to go on. Pairing these lids with other kinds of cups is not what the intended use is, so there would be a risk of the lids not functioning properly.
