It took me a while to assembled 4 stools by myself but it was well worth it. I highly recommend to assemble them on a table or something leveled so you can line everything up as best as possible. When I did that I noticed the finished assembled stool doesn't wobble as much. It's very sturdy since its solid wood & it smells terrific!

Beautiful stools!

Stools were as pictured. Good cedar wood. Note, please must be totally assembled. It is not difficult but does take a little time and is a two person job, one holding the pieces in place while the other connects with the screws. Also, there are no extra screws if you should lose one. They turned out very nice and go well with the Silverton Pergola we bought from Sam's last year.

I purchased the stools to go with the pergola that was also purchased.  They were easy to assemble.  The end result were very sturdy stools to go along the bar side of the pergola which gives the pergola a finished look.

I am very happy with end results, looks great getting lots of compliments on how solid the structure looks and nice design. when I started to build it with 2 people i broke some wood (I did not follow recommendation to have a minimum of 3 people and tried with 2 and ... Fail). I called up customer service (Michelle ) explained my fail the instruction book let had all the part numbers which they had in stock. I was breaking out my credit card when to a very pleasant and unexpected surprise I was informed that part were shipping free of charge. Side note* if you follow instructions you will end up with a great product. Its over 100 degrees here in Austin and this is one of the better investments i have made- Nice job Yardistry folks!

Very nice and goes great with pergola we bought BUT TOO MANY PIECES to put together. Should explain in more detail that you have to put EVERY PIECE TOGETHER.

Nice stool BUT....

My Wife wanted these to be used on our back porch. They are made of Cedar and are rather light weight. I used wood glue on all pieces before I screwed them together. I wanted to make sure they remain tightly assembled as they will see lots of use. There is only one very light coat of gray stain applied and dirt and scuff marks show up rather quickly. All in all, a nice stool for the price. We'll see how they survive the test of time.

The stools match our Charleston pergola, and are a great addition to our patio/pool area. My husband put them together and it was fairly straightforward. The only thing I would say that is a negative is how soft the wood is. You have to be careful- slow and steady is key when building them. The handyman said the same thing about the pergola; you just need to go slow so it doesn't crack.

Perfect match

I am really upset about these stools, they looked so nice on the website and I don't mind assembling an item if they are predrilled and designed to be assembled. One of the the biggest flaws is that the screws included with them are square head - which must be one of the causes of why almost every screw top has become stripped. Some of the pieces aren't pre drilled so I had to use a drill bit to make an opening before putting pieces together to prevent the wood from splitting or stripping the screw head. The feel of the stools is so rough I'm surprised I don't have splinters trying to assemble them. I got about half way through assembly but couldn't continue because a screw top has stripped leaving a screw sticking out 3 inches. I'll be contacting the manufacturer for replacement pieces - but as of right now this was the biggest waste of $200.

Horrible - don't buy

We purchased 6 of these and sadly after little more than a year they are all showing extreme decline. All the seats have split. These have been on our patio covered for the most part with little direct contact with sun or rain but have not weathered well at all considering they are made for outdoor use. Would not recommend.
