Best Generator On The Market!

Only got to use it a few times but it works awesome for my semi. Small enough to fit in my cabinet so its not just out in the open. Fires on first pull and when in eco mode and idled down you can't even hear it running. Great deal!

Quiet and easy to store

Too many Met Ed outages here in the woods so I have this to keep a few lights on, plus the fridge and my computer. Propane fireplace keeps the house warm when Met Ed fails in the winter.

Meets my needs

Just purchased the 2500 inverter generator (gas only) and have very positive initial impressions. Easy to start and shut down (short term and long term). My older generator was a pain to truly drain the carburetor. I have run it twice for 60+ min and drained oil. the metal oil from the first hour was clearly more than the second and I am glad I did not just run it for 5 hours to do the break in and then change. So i will finish the break in period and then save it for emergencies per plan. And of course it is quiter and longer run time per gallon than my older model.

Very positive initial impressions

This was my choice because the physical size is perfect. The functions are what I need. I have not had the opportunity to use it yet although I am looking forward to it. I looked at many reviews and was pleased then I saw it at a great price at BJ's so I bought it. Thank you for all your follow up. That alone tells me a lot.

Overall good generator for the price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After reading lots of reviews I decided to take the plunge and buy this generator even though it was around $150 more than the competive ones; i.e. Wen and Smart Power. From the packaging I noticed that this generator might be a used/return item which I really did not mind provided it was in good condition. Upon opening the package, I noticed that there were oil spills in the plastic bag surrounding the generator (see picture}, and then all over the bottom, air intake grill, air filter housing, engine compartment, and also outside; see the decal oil discoloration picture. It took me a couple of hours to clean up the mess.
The generator seems to run OK but I am still on the fence since upon starting the generator, I noticed it sputtered as if it wanted to shut off, but after I shut down the generator and restarted it that went away. I am glad I bought the extended warranty since considering the condition I received the generator in I may have to return it if I encounter more disappointing episodes on this generator.
