I have this razor for two years now and will never go back to shaving cream and razor. This does not get as close a shave as a razor, but it is reasonably smooth. My only question is the series 9 that much better for a lot more money. I love this shaver!

I've had one of these for over a year and love it. It's high quality and durable. It's ergonomic and easy to clean with just water in between cleaning station cleans. It's great to travel with and has a lot of accessories in the package. You can trim a beard, mustache, and cut hair with the trimmer spacers. The price point makes this package a great value.

Great electric razor. Replaces my old series 7 but so much better.  Smooth shave and considerably quieter.  Gets the job done right.

I have used a Norelco since I began to shave and decided to try a different shaver when my Norelco stopped working. I am very pleased with how close a shave I get with the Braun shaver; well worth the change!

Great Shaver!

Difficult to get a close shave. Countless repetitions will do the trick, but I shouldn't have to go over it 50 times. It is gentle and smooth on the face. Doesn't snag. Don't want to press hard to get a closer shave, because it may irritate my skin esp. on the neck under the chin between the ear and chin as with my previous 70 Series in the past. Stretching the skin helps a bit, but still takes a while to complete the shave. That's the only reason I didin't give it a 5 star rating. Difficult to shave thin hair on the neck side under the chin as well.

Countless strokes for close shave

This is my 2nd razor( same brand and series) The first quit working after 2 and a half years. Was disappointed but liked the features and results. Hoping this one lasts.

2nd purchase

Literally no instructions. Seems to shave ok as long as it's every day. Don't know how to use or install attachments. Included five containers of some kind of fluid and I have no way to know what it's for or how to use it. The instructions suck. I'm sorry what instructions?

Braun just

After only 1 month I cannot even use the shaver head any more. It hurts terribly as it feels like it is pulling whiskers out instead of cutting them. I've cleaned it twice but it still isn't even usable. I expected more than 1 month use from such an expensive product. Very disappointed.

Shaver head only lasted 1 month!

Same old electric no-shave, this thing missed a bunch of my stubble.  Really fancy package but the same poor results I've seen my entire life.  And no, I'm not doing it wrong.

Braun was defeated my my man stubble.

I've been using  my Series 7 for a couple of years now. For the longest time, I encountered problems with the shaver's head popping off mid shave. I have 70 year old skin and shave following my shower. I suppose this created too much friction for the shaver to handle without using excessive care to avoid this from happening. Since then, I was able to learn to use the device with fewer interruptions at a cost of many more passes over my face with the shaver. I have also learned that the shaving head does not effectively contain the shaven hairs. This took additional time to deduce because my beard is now gray and I must shave in a seated position because I am handicapped. My cleaning station has run out of the cleaning solution and will no longer allowing charging in the stand. I don't know if refilling the stand with solution will resolve this issue, but I am unwilling to spend additional funds to find out. The display on the shaver is incomprehensible, but not as much as is the owners manual. The designs of both the shaver and stand are awful. I used to design better myself, having been an engineer.
