We had the same brand can for several years, we have always liked the automatic top.   That can stopped working so we looked and found this new can, same brand.  Works great, maybe a little shorter and bigger around but the opening is a bit larger also.  It's good when you cannot hide your can in your kitchen.  Trash is keep closed up.  Also, the automatic top is super convenient when your hands are dirty, just wave your hand over the top and it opens, toss your trash and in a few seconds it closes.  No marks left on the outside of the can.

Works great, lasts a long time

Was looking for an auto trash can that would leave some money in the bank. Here it is. The can works well, is pretty simple to operate and replace the operating batteries. There is NO pesky "programming" as is so common on minor appliances today. KISS - keep it simple, Sam! If this is your motto- this is the auto trash can for you!

Easy to use - easy on the wallet

I really like this trash can, it opens and closes by itself and I dont have to touch a thing especially when my hands have icky on them.  It is also very easy to remove and insert the trash bag

This trash can is extremely versatile. Easy to clean, easy to install new trash bag and the hand motion detector works great! Best deal in town if you are looking for a kitchen trash can.

The trash can arrived in good condition, A fine size for my kitchen. looks nice. One big problem, I spent almost $12 for C batteries installed them as shown in the instructions but the motion sensor doesn't sense.

Yes and no

This item is a nice trash can for kitchen use, however, it does not open properly in a random manner. Sometimes it opens fully, sometimes partially, not enough to inser trash, or does not open at all. I will order another as this is an excellent kitchen can, however, sometimes an item is defective or not designed correctly. A replacement will tell me if this is an isolated or persistent issue

Attractive, Convenient, However.....

I ordered this trash can and the lid had multiple dents.  I returned and Sams issued me a new one.  The second one was worst than the first one.  I returned that one as well and I am still waiting on a refund.
