Very happy with the quality. It did take 4 of us to lift the roof in place. All holes were pre drilled. Would have appreciated a 3/16 concrete drill bit in the kit. Very well packed in 2 long heavy boxes. We picked ours up at the store using a trailer. Only got a little mixed up on the correct bolt to use on the frame. I think the assembler got ahead of the instructions person. All in all, really pleased.

Best price is at Sam's club. Saved $300.

Entire product came in two boxes. Everything was precut and predrilled. Bolt and nut bags were clearly marked and included extras. I did need help lifting roof onto frame, other than that it was a one person install. I called customer service once to get a screw and nut replacement and it was shipped FedEx Ground and received in just a few days after calling. I recommend this product very highly.

Backyard Discovery Saxony Cedar Grill Gazebo

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very sturdy and well built!  Easy to follow instructions. Quality control is very good.  Extra screws and bolts.   And if you need touch up stain to fix minor scratches or marks they are happy to send it to you.   I would definitely it from them again.  If you live in a windy area this is the Gazebo for you.

All shipping and support exceeded expectations.  The assembly was not too difficult and the alignment of holes between boards was amazing.  On the Roof Assembly (Step 25) I would suggest modifying the 3rd tip: "Layout all roof sections to center and determine equal gaps BEFORE any screws are used."  I had a false start and needed to remove screws and adjust.
Would be great to see what others have done with their Gazebo.  I'm now trying to figure out lights over my grill and smoker and perhaps an exhaust fan.

Exceeded expectations

Don't think twice, this is an excellent product, easy to install. I'm 62 years old and did the entire project by myself except for assistance lifting the roof. After completing the build I added a few extras. Added a full double sided back pannel and then built two cabinets beside my blackstone grill. Last was power and lights. This was an amazing product for a 19th hole 110 yard par 3 and oversized putting green.

Extremely happy with my Saxony XL!  The shipping packaging was easy to sort. The 3D model available online made the install infinitely easier.  The final product is absolutely stunning.

Excellent craftsmanship

Love this gazebo! I bought 2 for different locations. One for grill cover and another I put porch furniture under it and it was perfect. Took 5 hours to assemble with 2 people.

What a find

Love the grill gazebo. We got a good deal at Sam's Club compared to other retailers' prices. Comes in 2 boxes, easy to haul in a pickup. Assembly was mainly a one person job, my husband was able to do it in about 5-6 hours over the course of the afternoon. Product seems to be high quality. Makes a great addition to our space. We added lights and outdoor metal stools.

Outdoor oasis

Just absolutely loved the entire experience with this carport.  I knew it was going to be a challenge because of the grade where I wanted to place it.  There is a good 15" drop from one corner to the opposite corner. Since the posts are hollow I decided to modify the bottoms.  I first dug the required holes and filled them with concrete.  Then I accurately measured the drop from the highest point to all the other post slabs.  I then used 4x4 and 2x8 pressure treated wood to build inserts.  I added 5" to all the posts so that the post on the highest point would  have a "matching" base.  The top of the black paint on the posts are now all level.  My approach to this install was when I inventoried everything I stacked all the parts in reverse order from the instructions.  I then built all the joists and reverse stacked them in the order that the instructions called for them.  Day of the install went so very easy.  Literally less than a day to assemble the posts, joists, roof, and anchors.  Finished product is so much more than I expected.  We love this carport!!

Beautiful Addition to the House

This purchase was the worst experience we've had throughout our years of being members. We paid for the assembly through Sam's Club. The assembly wasn't done correctly. We had over 10 different appointments of people either not showing up or receiving the incorrect replacement parts from backyard discovery. The last time we received an incorrect part and we just decided to use that final piece instead of waiting for another order and the parts to get mailed to us. Overall, the whole roof had to be replaced due to the original assemblers damaging the roof during assembly. The process took over two months because of the incompetence of the assembly company, Out of the Box, and Backyard Discovery's inability to send the correct pieces and parts four times
