This is my third HomePod 2nd gen and I really like them. They have a lot of bass but it's balanced enough that it won't disturb the neighbors. Also the stereo pair sounds twice a good.

Sounds amazing

I had one of these fail, so I bought another one. At ****, it's a bit pricey, especially when one quit working. If this one doesn't last, I won't buy it anymore.

The HomePod does a lot of things very well. The soundstage is very good and the Siri voice-activated features are really handy. It isn't quite the sound of the old Bose speaker I had, but it is just as good in its own way, depending on the music. Overall, a good value, especially if you are already using Apple products such as the iPhone

Great smart speaker, especially if you use Apple

I bought two of these for stereo sound for my Apple TV and also because I have a lot of Apple devices. It is amazing when it works.

The experience is ruined somewhat by Airplay because of how unstable it is for streaming Spotify. Note that at the time of writing, Spotify isn't natively supported but can still be played with an Airplay handoff. Apple Music is perfect though so if you don't use Spotify, you are well off then.

I agree with the “wired.com” review. Too much bass and muddy midrange. One can turn off the bass boost but the sound could still be a lot better.

Very unstable sound quality isn't at all good for price difficult to use can't control volume if using it as a sound bar for tv over all bad choice for a speaker price is the biggest issue….
