Hard to beat a Honda and the Cat Pump is a "Best in Class" pump. Nice Aluminum deck & handle, Good selection of tips for about any need, nice adjustable PSI right on the wand. With the 0 angle tip, this thing can cut down small trees so if you aren't familiar with a commercial grade work horse like this, get to know the unit and it's capabilities before you blow the siding off your house....just sayin. With the right tip and the PSI dialed down you can clean ever so gently, when you need big power for concrete this unit has it !

I purchased this unit about two weeks ago and have used it about four times. Starts on the first pull every time and has lots of power, I use a BE orbiter to do driveways and patios. With THE HONDA Engine And Cat Pump This Thing Is Serious. Looked around quite a bit and couldn't find a better deal anywhere!

Powerful pressure washer

This pressure washer is in addition to a Craftsman 2900 PSI 2.3GPM. There is no comparison. This pressure washer will blow the other away. Very well built, love the design and features. I have used this for everything but mainly for washing heavy equipment in my excavation business and it takes half the time to do the job. Very pleased!

Lots of power

Honda GX390 engine and Cat pump, that's a great start. Engine starts easily. Adjustable (pressure) power spray wand works great when you don't want to take the paint off the side of your house. The hose looks very durable and is easy to work with (it doesn't fight you). The only negative thing I can say is my wife wasn't happy with how much I spent on it.

Satisfied customer

I am just a home owner but with that said, one is a log home and needs to be washed every other year. I had the Dewalt model close to this one and lost it in a fire. Was very happy with it..But this Simpson model that I just got is much better based on the Pump, the spray wand is a Great improvement and the non-marking hose. have used it over the last couple of days and another noticeable difference is the frame being so much lighter...Totally recommend the little bit of extra money.

Best Pressure Washer

Top quality machine. The only problem I had was with the tires being flat spotted (maybe it will go away after some time). Engine starts easy. You can peel the paint off of anything or destroy concrete or asphalt if you aren't careful. I bought it to clean my construction equipment and it is a perfect application. Five Stars!

Great Pressure Washer

Im happy with it. But what I have found is that you have to understand what the GPM is good for. 

I have another pressure washer that is 20 to 25 years old, because I bought it used 17 years ago. Honda Motor and Cat pump are still going. But it is 4.5 GPM. 

If your washing down and cleaning a driveway the 4.5 GPM is much better. 

If you are washing a car, washing down a truck bed, using a small surface cleaner to clean the garage floor, the 2.5 GPM is good. 

The smaller pressure washer is much more quiet than my larger one. 

You can not adjust the pressure and it does not have a pressure gauge. But you can use an inline pressure gauge and use larger tips to reduce the pressure. I have 4.5 GPM tips from my other pressure washer and some warn 4.5 GPM tips. So, I can use those for lower pressure.

Good for the size.

Bought about two weeks ago- so far so good. Cleaning farm equipment Works great. plenty of pressure- does vibrate the nozzles out of the handle storage--better than scrapping grease and dirt off by hand

Great Machine

Upon receipt of the pressure washer, the wand was bent.  The snap ring for one of the wheels was broken in half and laying in the bottom of the shipping box.  The throttle lever was over tightened to where I couldn't move the lever.  Upon my first use one of the nuts securing the engine to the frame vibrated lose because it didn't have a lock washer nor thread locker on the bolt.  Simpson's online support documents are excellent.  Their paper documents that come with the pressure washer are weak.  Once I navigated through these annoying issues, all is good.

Good unit, but.

Simpson

Great pressure washer with a quality engine and pump. Pressure and flow are great! During assembly, the handle bolt holes didn't line up and and I one side so it would slide down to line up versus drilling a larger hole that would be more slotted. The pump outlet quick disconnect was out of round and the lock collar wouldn't seat. I had to use a pair of channel locks to squeeze it back into shape so the quick disconnect would function. I would have preferred it didn't have a dedicated downstream injector at the pump made of brass, but didn't catch that in the specs and it's not removable. Lastly, their supplied hose end leaks until you have full pressure.

98% great!

The hydraulic pump leaks oil badly, so the washer has no pressure. It's in for warranty repair at one of your local service providers. They told me yesterday that it will probably take a long time before I get it back. Pretty disappointed!
