I like the design very much. Handles 100 foot hose easily and roles into the housing with difficulty. Internal storage for the nozzles, etc. is a useful option. Seems well built.

A hose storage unit that seems built to last

I had bought the larger model from HDepot and the connections are all plastic threads and easily damaged. 
I returned it. It was also $30 more. This model from Sam's club is excellent and the brass fittings are perfect.

Superior model great buy

Overall a good value hose reel, the swivel is not that smooth , but is capable of helping direct where you need to bring your hose. For the price I would buy again. I rated 4 star because the swivel base tends to disconnect from the main body and the plastic ball bearing go everywhere when it happens occasionally.

Good for the price

Ive only had it a short time, but it seems solid, and winds the hose well.  It did not arrive with the stakes needed to keep it in place.  I really like the swivel base.

So far, so good

Wasn't strong/large enough to handle our heavy duty 100 ft hose.  The swivel bottom moves when you are trying to reel it up.

Built for average hose

My hose is a high quality, expensive and multilayered. It does not wind on the reel without getting tangled and overlapped on the reel. It took me 30 minutes to remove the entangled hose. And yes I did thread the hose through the device that supposedly makes the hose wind neatly. It might work fine with a hose smaller in diameter and more flexible but I'm not willing to buy a smaller hose to find I've just wasted my money.  I plan to return it. Very disappointed. Giving 3 stars as I don't know how it might work on smaller hoses.

hose tangles on reel

Flimsy, not near as nice as ones we've bought here before. Like the dark brown color of the last ones better.

Not quality!

I bought 2 and had to buy new leader hoses for both before icoukd use them. I could not get the ones that were supplied to stop leaking.

Disappointed

Hose that connects to facet links no matter how tight it is.  Hose to connector same issue.  If container swivels to release more hose water sprays.  Hard to move, hose hard to wind up after use.  Poor quality 😢

Poor quality

You have unwind how much hose you or If you just pull hose it topples over, with only 50 foot hose. Stated can use 100 foot hose.
