I read the bad reviews but this tv is the best value for the money out there. I buy on research, not impulse. Works perfectly and super easy to set up. Requires Vizio app but all brands do this now. Color and picture are amazing. For $99 got Vizio soundbar with equally amazing sound. Buy the 55” TV rather than 50” as the 55 has “quick fit” feature for the soundbar. It snaps right to the bottom of the tv and creates a nice neat and tidy package. One of my favorite additions to our game room. The difference I. Price between Sam’s and Walmart for this same great tv will pay for your Sam’s yearly membership

Buy It!

Bought about two weeks ago, pretty happy. Fit on the same wall mount I already had for my 49” hitachi that died. For my first smart tv, I like what I’ve got so far.

Great picture very vibrant colors and sharpness.  Easy on the eyes to enjoy in a bright room.

Great buy TV from Vizio

Love this tv so far. Haven’t had it too long but really like it. Really nice picture and I like the options on it. It has many things already loaded on it so if you have prime, Netflix, Disney etc..it’s already there for you. We had an older flat screen before this and it was an 50” so we went a little bigger to a 55” this time. The only complaint I have is the speakers are on the back so if it wasn’t in a smaller room, we would need a sound bar to hear it better.

55” Vizio smart tv

I originally wanted the less expensive 55 inch Vizio, but it wasn’t on the sales floor. I decided to spent a few dollars more for the Qled model, and I don’t regret my decision.

Upgrade to the future andbe satisfied.

Bought this tv to replace my 15 year old 55” Vizio. 
The screen layout is different and did take some getting used to, but great when you work it out. 
Also had the option (which I took) to also download Vizio remote to my phone. This works (in my opinion) better than the “real” remote. 
Overall. Very pleased with the sound and picture quality of the tv.

Excellent buy.

Great color contrast and picture.  Wonderful TV for streaming and gaming, but NOT user friendly for watching local news.  After about 3 days we finally found the volume buttons.  No instructions, therefore very frustrating to navigate.

Great picture

We're OLD & not of the computer generation so everything is harder for us to learn & retain. Also, it's difficult for older people to use a remote that does not have channel input keys 0 through 9. As we grow older, SMARTER IS NOT NECESSARILY BETTER, but we are slowly learning.

Not so smart

I ordered 1 of these came boxed well, but the TV was defective in how the screen was attached to the TV. There were multiple pinch/pressure points at the top and bottom of the screen. Returned the first one and ordered a 2nd one. The 2nd one came with the same issue as the first, just the pinch/pressure points where in different spots. Definitely will not be purchasing another one.

Ordered 2 both had issues

TV kept locking up.  We had to turn the power off constantly to get the tv to turn on again.  I wish we would have read the ratings beforehand
